- Welcome to Pierce Brothers Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California. Today, we will be talking about Marilyn Monroe and I will show you the location where her funeral was held, her grave, plus weird stories about those laid to rest around her including the notorious Richard Poncher, who was interred in the crypt above Marilyn face down. This was confirmed by a man named Michael Steen, who was present that day and was working at the cemetery. Join me today, as we talk about Marilyn Monroe and pay our respects to the Hollywood legend.

I'm surprised pierce bros agreed to let that guy get buried upside down on top of her. I agree with you it's definitely sick and inappropriate.
They didn't agree. His friends snuck in and turned him over.
I hate this story. That guy is a complete freak. RIP 🕊
Three times a week joe gave her flowers till he died
Was it that often? More than I thought! Thanks for adding that!
Yes, I read it was 3 times a week. Thanks for the video. Regards from Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Yea for 30 years joe fid it n when he was dying his last words were I get to see marilyn
Well I think Old Joe just set himself up for a big disappointment.Where did this RUMOR start that we get to see our loved ones, pets, etc.,after we die??I don't think so.@@lisaknowles2605
It was three times a week, then Mr. Dimaggio changed it to twice a week. In 1982 he stopped the order.
That guy was sick who wanted to be on top of Marilyn for all eternity.
Sick? In what way? I mean he's dead!!!
@@anthonyangeli256 "was" means past tense.....🙄
@@neeneemarie past tense, really? Thanks!
You must be one of those fanboys of Marilyn Monroe, she has already turned to dust, she has been dead for 62 years and it still hurts from those who are interred near her
@@anthonyangeli256You know how sick fans are, she died 62 years ago, her body turned to dust
My favorite movie of Marilyn's was "Some like it hot." Such a funny movie.
So many famous people are buried there. That is the strangest thing about the man above her. He paid all of that money for the crypt, but left his wife with a mortgage on the house? What a peach of a husband he was. Just an all-round weird story. Thanks for another great video. Always enjoy your work. Hope you have a great Easter weekend. He is Risen!
Thanks Cathy! I agree, very weird situation. Have a great week and Happy Easter!
Visiting this cemetery today.
I’m new here, I enjoy your work, thanks for all the info on the yesterday stars.
Thank you and welcome 😁
Love natalie wood 😢
RIP Marilyn 😔
♈🍁♈
And RIP To All that Have passed away 😔
You have a good camera, very nice and clear.
Marilyn exploited in life exploited in death.
Tons of really famous people there. One of my favorite rock and roll artists roy orbison has an unmarked grave there
Miss her
Cause of death read "probable suicide" whatever that means !
👍
Farrah fawcett too 😢?
I had no idea she didn't want Ryan next to her.
I respectfully have to disagree ... that story is hilarious!
People do sick things at cemeteries because their parents didn't teach them how to behave in such places & situations.
U mean they murdered her
Should be against the law to be buried face down on top of anyone
Beautiful Mexican women
RFK not JFK. & About the guy upside down above her, why not? What's the big deal?
We don’t really know much about Richard poncher, so, to call him sleazy isn’t really cool. Just saying.
Maybe so, but treating his wife that way, was at the least disrespectful, I think most would agree with.
You,Don't know if it is not true,
