here's a bit of a tip Lith on earth always has two dragonlilies from the starting area, along the left border of the map and keep progressing to find the first one. The second one can be found just past the first one, in a tunnel by on the left border as well

how do I know if its day or night on earth?

for anyone asking in the future, you will need to check a website, the ingame Plains of Eidolon time is not the same as the earth cycle

On your nav screen b4 selecting a planet . Look for where it says World Cycles
Plains of Eidolon: Day or Night in (?)

@@michaelwoods3605 that is not the same as the Earth night cycle. There are 2 cycles on the planet the Earth and the Cetus cycle. Earth is a 4 hour cycle, while Cetus is a 100 minutes for day, 50 minutes for night.
The one on the dashboard is Cetus while the Earth cycle is not visible in the game.
