Lead singer on Oh Daddy is Christine McVie, who wrote the song.

Fun rundown even if you don't know the context though that's best for a first listen because then it's all about the music and not the baggage. Musically it's Rock, Pop and more Folk than Country with some Blues.
Their previous album (1975) spent 37 weeks in the top 10. It took one year of them touring and releasing songs to reach #1 while they were in the middle of making Rumours which started out as #1 on the charts and spent 33 weeks at #1 (with a couple weeks losing it's place then returning). It's spent 530 weeks on US Bill Board 200 and recently hit 1,000 weeks on the UK charts. It's sold in the yearly top 10 for the last few years.
They had three lead singer/songwriters and almost always sang lead on their own written songs. Under all that Southern Californian sheen and beautiful arrangements and production all were writing mostly about the destruction of their long term romantic relationships Buckingham & Nicks and Christine & John McVie.
Lindsey Buckingham - MALE lead singer, songwriter, guitarist, arranger, producer. Lead singer on Second Hand News, Never Going Back Again, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Co-lead on Don't Stop and I Don't Want to Know.
Christine McVie - lead singer, songwriter, keyboardist. Lead on Songbird, Oh Daddy, You Make Loving Fun and Co-Lead on Don't Stop which she wrote for her ex the bass player John McVie
Stevie Nicks - FEMALE lead singer, songwriter. Lead singer on Dreams, Gold Dust Woman and co lead on I Don't Want To Know which she wrote. Silver Springs was added to the album after it's 2004 re-issue but wasn't on the original album but rather a B side on the single for Go Your Own Way.
    John McVie: Bass
    Mick Fleetwood: Drums and percussion
Fleetwood Mac was named for the rhythm section by the group founder and original guitarist Peter Green who left in 1970

I'd be more interested in hearing your reaction to "Tusk", their next album in 1979, which was thought suicidal at the time because of the cocaine-infused experimentation. The band was ready to call it quits and Lindsey brought them back together--but it took the group a full year to record it at a cost of $1M (a lot at that time). It peaked at #3 and was considered a sales failure, but is today a landmark of '70s weirdness.

Insightful young reviewer! Glad to have you check out the songs from the old days. You should also check out the 1977 album "Aja" by Steely Dan.

Mac had an album called Tango In The Night which, in my opinion, is every bit as good as Rumours.

You should either review The Dance live concert, where you can see who is making this music, or the Tango In The nIght album.

Great video! Will continue to recommend Fresh fruit for rotting vegetables, though.

Lindsey Buckingham is the guitarist, one of the best ever
Fleetwood Mac started off as a Blues band, when Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined in mid 70’s, they turned into more of pop rock band

Silver Springs was not part of the album, it was a B side. Nicks was upset about it but it would break the mood of the album. 1982 Mirage tour was their best concert full of range cocaine and resentment.
