Wow this is really beautiful and the meaning shines through! Even though you say you lose your way slightly sometimes that happens with art and animation, but your meaning is very clear in this. I lose my way when doing artwork sometimes too haha, my lecturers tend to try and tell me to keep my meaning clear lol. The animation is really fluid and the backgrounds are really well drawn you’re truly talented! Congratulations on graduating ^v^
I am so proud of you!! Your future holds so many possibilities. Congratulations on this your final thesis. It's amazing just like you are. Follow your dreams and wonderful things will happen
BRAVA! BRAVA! BRAVISIMA! Truly, honestly amazing work. Honestly, I wanna see a whole series based on this world in a cartoon, maybe with Roosterteeth or something. I love it! I especially loved the way that, even though you had relatively few frames per second, you didnot shirk in the least at detail. And the way you took to fluid-form animation! Amazing, truly! Not a single rig anywhere! I can tell you put hours and hours into this! Have you a patreon? If not, I would recommend setting it up. Even if I can't assist, I really want to spread word of talented animators like yourself.
@@shannonsmith6059 of course! I can't contribute right now, as I'm barely getting by, but I can share your work and encourage other patrons. Have a beautiful day!
So, life vs death I see. Also I can tell those mics were very cheap because the lack of quality, and the muffled noises in the background, there are some really good mics out there that cost at a low price.... Just a suggestion.
I appreciate the criticism, but not really the type I was looking for. These were volunteer friends willing to help me out and that was all I could ask for.
@@shannonsmith6059 Oh my apologies see, I forgot to clarify I had no idea this was like some kind of school or college project, so I made some bad misconceptions. Either way what a very creative story, very enjoyable.👍
optimistic death is something i never knew i needed
Nature: *Picks a flower, killing it*
Death: *takes it an it withers faster*
Nature: HOw DarE yOu!
This was so touching and its meaning gets deeper the longer you think about it. You did a really great job!
Thank you SO much, you have no idea how much your comment means to me
Well, he caused those mushrooms to grow.
Yea I was thinking that too
Bro I love finding underrated animators so I can rant about how underrated they are
Life pulled that flower out of the ground, which is a death sentence.
It felt like I was watching a scene of an episode from a series.

Thank you so much, you're so sweet. ;__;
I'm surprised this isn't more popular. It has an amazing message and you portrayed that very well, amazing work

Dude, this is amazing!
Thank you, Wilson!
This reminds me of a comic "a matter of life and death"
Coulda noted that, without death, nature couldn't continue. Plants take nutrients from the soil, which is made from decayed plants and animals.
I watch this sometime ago, it's weird how little attention it got. This is cool!
omg this actually expresses how I feel so well
your a really good story teller Shannon ^^
The music got me them portal vibes. Wow!

there is a lot of effort put into the art but i feel like those smudge frames or whatever theyre called dont fit to such a slow and sad story
