Another World, A Retrospective

Few games make an impact as big as this game. Another World was a truly unconventional platform game from Delphine Software and was released on just about every 16-bit platform imaginable. Using a rather rare graphical style for the time, it immersed the player into a strange world and kept the player interested without so much as a single line of dialogue. It also had some flaws though as the game required massive amounts of trial and error and then level memorization, but this game still ranks as one of the greatest video games ever made and paved the way for cinematic style gaming.

Its a great game. I remember being very impressed by the intro, its a very common thing today but back then it was very new and fresh.

The game is less about skill and more about memorization, stick with it and I am sure you will smash it in time :)

I paid money for this game, _de facto,_ thinking I would learn/practice French with the text based games that come bubdled with it on the same cartridge (Delphine Collection, Evercade). I'm probably never gonna get five minutes of use out of the cartridge.
