I work commercial industrial sheet metal construction, I bought this radio last week, everything about it is first class, the volume goes to 15, I never have it past 9 and it is always crystal clear and loud.. The tuner is flawless and I charge it during the evening and use it on battery all day. The very best jobsite radio made.
Good thing I was holding off on buying the previous M12 radio, because this looks like it will suit me just fine! Thanks for the review Brother, definitely getting one.
This looks like the one I’ll be going with. It’s got the right features for me and I’ll take your word on the sound quality for the size of it. Thanks for all the quality info on these things you have been doing!
Now, this one looks nice. I like the handle from top and not the sides and it has Le Bluetoothon with USB and battery charger. Definitely worth it, if you own M12 platform.
The battery charging feature is really good cause I could avoid the need for buying an external charger of i wanted to buy this and didn't have any m12 batteries already.
Much MUCH better than the standard m18 radio. 😎🔥 Nice music, btw. 🤘 😁Bluetooth, baby, Bluetooth!!! Plus it's a charger? Competitive price as well? Yeah, that's a win win and..... yes, win. Great find Clint! Thanks and God bless! 😁👍
Hi TRZ, Wow, this is what i really need. Like i mention i have the other milwaukee radio that you did a video on. I just need a compact radio. Don't really need a huge radio every time. Really milwaukee should have done this style for their m18 line. Also, it doesn't matter if i can charge a battery. My rapid charger does it faster plus i can plug in this radio to an outlet. Can't wait to get one. Thanks for the video
I seen reviews of this radio and supposedly Milwaukee's had that I had 10 presets where the M18 had 5 presets but the whole purpose that I wanted the smaller radio because in the garbage trucks not everyone has a radio so if my truck goes in for service I can still have a radio to listen to the M18 radio was just a little too big couldn't put it on the dashboard I had to put it on the floor and floor those cabs get extremely hot but can't wait for this radio come out
I have dewalt ridgid and m12 Milwaukee. And I am looking for a speaker for camping /garage / beach vacation. Should you choose this over the other brands or options from Milwaukee?
Quick question how does the sound compare to lets says a jbl flip speaker because i gotta say those jbls sound amazing just bummer that they dont have a built in radio and it being compact makes it even better . I currently have the Milwaukee jobsite speaker , sounds great but no am/fm radio so im really looking for something compact with radio and decent sound
Looks pretty good however we all looks can be deceiving....my beloved Milwaukee brand has been letting me down lately but maybe this will be a new start. Would love to see some 21700s in the 12v line.
Is it supposed to hold the off button for five seconds so it turns off or are you supposed to just be able to click it? I bought one but it makes me hold the button for a long time. And when I turn it on the sound goes up slowly if you have it on high why doesn’t it just start playing loud or is it just the one I bought?
I just bought this radio yesterday, but I personally think that it doesn't sound good at all (maybe I'm too picky). Even my coworker was cringing while listening to it. It has a very muddy sound without any clarity. When it plays, all I can think about is how bad it sounds. But, I love the feature of AC and DC power, plus being able to charge your battery and cell phone. Do you know of any other Milwaukee speaker that may sound better?
Depends what/where youre gonna use it for...if youre all over the jobsite i think portability is a must..unless you roll with a packout then cant go wrong with a bigger radio...if youre stationary or for shop then go with the big one.
@@SergeSchwartz oh I see. Bicycles are still around being sold at higher rates than 20 years ago. Not a great argument. There many uses cases for many different scenarios.

Just picked mine up last month. Love it! Sounds great and the fact that it's a charger too is an added bonus.
How loud is it

Clint, You gots to remove the Rigid from your bluetooth memory. The Milwaukee might get jealous. Great review! I may have to pick up one of these.
It's just so hard Grand! 😫😫😫 Ima get past it though lol👊👊

No pause functionality or did I miss it ?

It has everything that I want including the bluetooth, Am/FM and build/sound quality
This will be the one I will be picking up. 👍
You'll really like it John. I'm loving it bro👊👊👊
Definitely getting one of these!
It's a great radioJared, you'll really like it brother
Awesome.... and I just bought one and I didn't know it had a bass feature....
Clint you rock my brother thanks for another great review enjoy your 4th of July holiday
Thanks Brother! Have a great holiday!!!!
Thanks TRZ. I was feeling the M18 radio and after this review I may just end up going with the M12. Decision decisions. Happy 4th of July
Happy 4th Slams! Let me know what you decide on brother 👊
@@ToolReviewZone Definitely.👍
Does the battery get stuck on the radio, difficult to come off?

Can you compare to other job site speakers or radios sound quality wise?
Nass review. I hope they have this on holiday sale specials this year.
I love it! 😁❤️ Buuuut, where’s the bottle opener?! I’ll definitely be buying one! 😊🇨🇦
Use your keys lol
What good music man...and the radio is great thanks for sharing🤙
Haha, thanks Joster👊👊👊👊👊
Cam someone please tell me the name of this metal band
Don’t need it,but I want it,thanks
Lol, I can definitely understand that feeling Pete!!!
Sound quality better than older M18 you just reviewed?
The m18 has a larger all around sound than than this, but still sounds great for the size.

looking for a shop radio. Would you recommend this still i have m12 and m18 batteries and a few ryobi batteries laying around
Heck yeah, I love it 👊
Omg I want one so bad

Hey Clint, researching deals on radio / speakers, I'm in both dewalt and Milwaukee platforms. If you could only have one which would it be
What were those songs? Looks great i can't wait to pick one up for these boiler outages.
How long does the radio run on an M12 battery? Please include the amp hr of the battery that you use in the reply.
I read a review from Amazon that it will play music from a flash drive when you plug a flash drive to it. Can you try it.
Ohh man look out wallet im coming for this m12 radio!!
I'm torn between this and the M18/M12 Speaker. For the $40 difference I'm really thinking about the bigger speaker.

This radio really seems to be the radio for my small garage. However, here in UK, the price is MEGA
It's still £144 for the cheapest price i can find , did you buy 1 & how much ?
@@stestar09 No, it is still way too expensive.
Could you hear this over the compressor at a distance
I read one complaint that the clock will dim after awhile and you cant see it from a distance. Did you find that to be the case?
Not yet, but this is a newer radio, so I'll do a one year later review and let you all know
Tool Review Zone So it has stayed bright as of now?
how havey is the bass?
Hopefully the antenna isn’t junk
Do you need a battery to use it or can you use it with just the cord ?
Cors as well
Sounds good... Dare I say... I think it sounds better then your once beloved Rigid.
Yeah, it definitely does. I just grew really attached to that damn Ridgid.....damn thing lok
Wow 143k subs!!!
What is the price point on this?
I believe its around $112 Virginia
72 plus tax right now home depot get the 4.0 starter pack with the radio but return the battery packs
Anyone have a m12rcdab problem where it starts buzzing then freezes on the screen is displays a question mark symbol ( ? initializing )
THANK YOU GOD BLESS YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST 🙏✝️AMEN✝️🙏
How do you get the damn battery out
Will it have it’s own 100k song? Inquiring minds want to know
Haha, it definitely will buddy 👊
have to supply our own
Why my is not working pleas can someone help me my speaker not working no sound
👽One question that you recommend so much is speaker
did you put the batteries wrong?
What?
Wow, have anyone said you look like Jean Reno😲
Na but I can see it. Mostly the Rock and Brad Pitt I get 😏
@@ToolReviewZone 😂😂😂😂😂
Nice new toy clint 😎
I'm jamming with it right now TC!!!
How much again?
$112
Warning. You can not pause your blue tooth stream. Wtf? How did they miss that?
Agree, would be perfect with a play/pause button. With dirty hands I don’t want to be grabbing my phone out of my pocket.
no aux in
👌🏻
Anyone else struggling to pull the battery out?
Not just you. It's a tight fit
Thank you for playing MUSIC! What a concept, when reviewing a radio...
Only 1 yr warranty, rigid has lifetime.
No AUX cable. Won't be buying it.
Do you ride a bicycle to work also? It's 2021, everything has Bluetooth now and it's more convenient than aux.
@@SergeSchwartz oh I see. Bicycles are still around being sold at higher rates than 20 years ago. Not a great argument. There many uses cases for many different scenarios.
Can you make phone calls from this radio?
