@@MohdBasimKhan Police in constituted under the constitution, they are bound to follow pre-set rules. Police job is to arrest and to produce in court if any wrongdoing has happened, they aren't Law itself, they don't have authority to settle cases in Police Station.

This shows how a police officer is misled to think himself above law and emboldened to act in a manner taking law in his own hands. Unfortunately, most of the victims of the highhandedness of police bear with the injustice done to them and this case should give hope and confidence to such victims to take up the case in the right forums at least in the interest of the nation.
