eh? I thought the character is a gay middle age white dude? m yes, friendship between males x females, n all kind of friendship need to be celebrated more.
@Sandiswa Ndaba I think that was at least partially the point of Andy's character in "The Office." He's "that guy" many people have at their workplace or at school who just tries too hard, is too eager all the time, the person who is not a bad person, but... They're the ones who you ask yourself "why can't I just get over the fact he/she always annoys me?" Technically, they're a decent person and they like me, but "arrrrgggghhhhh!!"
I saw this in at the Wonderland Theater in Niles, Michigan and it was lovely. Patti Harrison really gave a standout performance. I love the dialogue between the two characters.
Idc I LOVE movies like this. Just happy cute feel good movies about normal people going about their days with a little bit of comedy mixed in… these are the movies I want after a long week of work.
Adored this movie. Only thing is that I craved closure. I wish there was an end scene, maybe embedded in the credits, where Anna is in a graduation cap and gown walking towards Matt and Lamp and Lamp is running to her, excited, calling out to her ("Auntie!"). Something brief that lets us know that Anna and Matt's friendship continued on and that Anna is in Lamp's life.
While this could go either way, Ed Helms surprises me here. I am used to him being funny, but he is quite poignant here and elicits a lot of empathy from you as the viewer. Looks cute!
Even in the Office you could tell he had layers under the funny, awkward guy. I’m not surprised at all, I was waiting to see it being brought to light!
that looks really interesting, thought provoking and sweet and I will be sure to watch, and yes, parenting is not about numbers , or even genders, it is all about love and acceptance by the people who want to raise you ...that is of course if they are decent human beings who want to raise a happy kid who will evolve into happy and responsible individual...
It's not too late. Your child will be an adult by your 73/74th birthday and if you're lucky and it's a girl that gets married and gives birth early, you'll be looking at a grandchild before 75. Seems like it's worth it to me
Certainly not. There are so many children out there in need of a loving home. ❤️ I have opted to be child-free, but should I regret/feel differently about that decision later, I am keeping the door open for adoption.
@@SadieMac0511 yes because adoption is as easy as saying "can I have that baby" and the authorities saying yeah sure here ya go. Pffft. Like it's up to you. Easier to have your own kid.
The trailer didnt raise the topic of adoption, so I am kind of curious to see if it gets raised/answered in the movie. I've often considered adopting later in life and I guess I'm just not concerned about passing on genetics so much as I am about having that bond and a family.
‘DEMIC SEPARATION Romans 8:31-39 From the Chikunga mosquito epidemic in 2014 to the Covid19 pandemic 2020 to 2021, it took seven years for me to miss Church service (physically) again. But in all honesty is probably more a pride sort of thing (like a never absence never late High School record) but still I have to worship. These ‘demic proportion separations got me thinking of other ‘demics that get in the way of JESUS. Demic - Latin - not common/ comparable, rare, of a distinct population of people. So we have epidemic (peer pressure) and academic (education) that both try to fool us into thinking we don’t need a Saviour. But don’t let anything separate you from JESUS.
"I just gave him a podcast" "GASPS" 😂
lol
Bruh when I found out 😶😶😶
I don't understand this line....
PLease explain, for the non-millenials here? podcast:?
Haha
I just pray they don't end up falling in love with each other! We need a good platoncom!
Yes! I would so be down for this. Like them moving in together and being parents etc... but not like Romanticly together
I was thinking the same thing the whole trailer. ✌
I think friendships should be celebrated more.
Thats exactly whats going to happen. The trailer just didn't give it away.
eh? I thought the character is a gay middle age white dude? m yes, friendship between males x females, n all kind of friendship need to be celebrated more.
I can see this is what Andy did after leaving Scranton.
@Sandiswa Ndaba I think that was at least partially the point of Andy's character in "The Office." If Andy were a real character, he definitely seems a lot wiser in this movie! :)
Tig Nataro as a therapist, I'm in.
And how does that make you feel?
Thank you for still making small yet beautifully human stories / movies.
"I want to thank you for doing this with me, and I also want to apologize for everyone I know." This movie might be good.
CAN'T WAIT!!! Patti stan club !
This looks like the perfect blend of awkward and charming and I’m here for it
I need more of this unusual friendship dynamic stories. Recs pls, anyone?
Interested in this!
me too !

Ladies and gentlemen, the grand daughter families are so happy for anytime on the day.
This is beautiful and incredibly sad at the same time.
Egg Helms is so talented.
Pattiiiiiiiiii omg! Cannot wait for this!
To those who have said, "I'll watch that"..... You just did! You just watched the entire story arc, the whole, frickin' movie.
I don't recall seeing the birth scene. You think they would have included that if the 'whole frickin' movie' is there.
@@splitpitch The baby is never brought to light. The movie ends with the podcast bit. I watched, the torrent is already available.
@@fernando.tomina oh. ok. I stand corrected.

I stopped watching the trailer half way through so I could still watch the move 😀
i like it, wholesome and encouraging
I'll see it, I like the concept a lot. And ed helms is a good actor.
THIS IS GONNA BE AMAZING!!
as long as it doesn't end in the predictable way of them falling in love and being together/together.
@@sarahdee374 why not?

Yes agreed. Really enjoyed it but loving the movie stopped short of the ending.

Unlike everyone, i actually want them to be together at the end lol
There's always about friends forever like everybody is happy ending

This is the new version of the 80s John Hughes film She's Having a Baby 👍👍👍👍💯❤️
I loved this movie💛💜🧡
It is a good movie, very realistic.
It can happen this way.
A new kind of romance.👍👍.

I'll probably give it a try.
I am perfectly sure, they will end up together 😉

Ed Helms is a real life Jerry

The ending is just...
What is the name of background music
Did this trailer just say Ed Helms? It's Egg, Egg Helms!
Nora Dunn & Tig Notaro sure I'll see it.
My baby is in there. Funny and wiered.
Tig built her whole career on being pregnant. Makes sense (looks like she has the personality of an ATM in this one).
I think it looks pretty good!
I like it. But the ending could have been better.
I like this!
nice to see this situation from a male POV
A man that wants to be a single father? So it's a fantasy.
🤣🤣
Remember there are no genders, in other words not all men are “men” these days. Social conditioning has everything upside down and confused.
Aaa can anyone tell me the background song, please sounds cool.
