Thanks for promoting our local spots. If you haven't already, I also recommend Special Hainan Chicken and Yao Yao's, both located in the Safeway plaza on Washington Ave in San Leandro. Also Garden Cafe in Castro Valley the only late-night HK cafe spot open til midnight in this area.
I'm glad to see your channel's growing You're getting better and better each video. You are in a tough niche on RUclips but you're doing a great job and it's showing!
Another great video Mike! Definitely will give it a try. I appreciate how you select a variety of dishes in each of your videos. These places are extra delicious when there’s “wok hee”.
Loving this video! I just returned from HK can’t wait to return for the food. You inspired me to visit a number of Cantonese restaurants in Oakland’s Chinatown!
Hi Mike it’s great that you’re reviewing SF-Bay Area local Favs! As another viewer mentioned try Hong Kong City restaurant in Alameda. Keep up the good work!
The "XO" in XO sauce is from the XO grade of cognac. The "XO" part stems from the addition of dried scallop shreds mixed along with chilis and chili oil. It was a good marketing strategy.
I'm really enjoying your video reviews. I hope you could do some review of Asian restaurants in Daly City & San Francisco. There are so many Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese restaurants here, but it’s hard to know which ones are good and which are a good value.
@@febobartoli , I will for sure be in SF and Daly City area. I was born and raised in SF but have lived in Eastbay for over a decade. So I eat on both sides regularly! Thank you for watching and your support.
This dude can grub! Catching up to Mark, appetite-wise. That last dish looked like the best of the bunch. Thank you for giving us all these key eating spots in the Bay 💪🏽

I have never been there even though I bank across the street and my dentist is around the corner.

Yes! I should have expounded on that. XO derived for “extra old” cognac to signify luxury and prestige.
