did they not learn anything from the first time?
why not clear 1km barrier around McMurry of trees. then there is no chance fire can burn the town.

Why doesn't Canada just buy a fleet of larger water bombers and put out all these fires instead of running away? A squadron of the Japanese Shin Maywa US 2 four engine water bombers can drop 4 train tank cars or 40,000 gallons on each run! And the turn around time between drops is quick as the plane is. In our current system we would need 256 helicopters with buckets to match 16 of these US-2 float planes. THE FIRES WOULD THEN BE PUT OUT!!!!

Another evacuation, so unnecessary! Just put out the darn forest fires. The officials DO NOT have the resources to PUT OUT the fires but only manage the disaster! As a citizen I demand that the Federal Gov't and the Alberta Gov't go to Japan and purchase a sizeable fleet of their highly successful big 4 engine amphibious water bomber the Shin May wa US-2. We need two squadrons, of about 16-18 planes each. Then ALL forest fires in Canada would be knocked down fast. The turn around time for dropping its 2500 gallon payload and then repeating the process could only be equaled by 16 helicopters. And 32 helo pilots vs. just two for the US-2 plane. Again I demand that our citizens have this level of protection. BUY THE DARN JAPANESE WATER BOMBER PLANES!!!
