Shin lim. I respect you a lot. I told my family and other magicians how good you are and how unique you are. These days I feel like magic is about gimmicks. Nowadays young magicians will buy some gimmicks and watch the tutorials about an hour than they believe they become god. Post it on social media and get views. That's all they care. They don't respect for the amount of practices the real magicians put in for Sleight of hands and card flourishes. Yes. The magic is dead.

Cardistry isn't magic because it is it's own thing and it has it's own place in the world. I believe that magic will never die out completely. It might get close at some points but people will always need something in life that mystifies them.
