Haven't camped for years, sooner or later I'm going to get new and second hand camping gear and head up to Whatipu for a 2 day camp and do some fishing. thank you for these encouraging video's.
I've been watching your vids thanks for the inspiration to get out there, I brought two of the Doite Alita xr4 tents for Me n my two kids after watching you get through the weather in yours. We just put it up for a look, can't wait to go camping in it!
Kia ora Tracy, nice to hear, I did have a look at those tents and was thinking of getting one. Just there's not much info online about the Doite tents. Happy camping, I'll head out again once it gets a bit cooler and the weather settles.

Thanks for watching, this is a great tent.. well made, has a great vestibule, has no condensation and good ventilation. AND it can handle rain and wind!
The tent is great and I was confident that it would hold up, no condensation and got to love the vestibule. Couple of minor leaking with the door zip and window but easily fixed with some seam sealant.
Love ya vids Mike, from an expat kiwi, i miss those fish fingers bro 😆😁as kids growing up late 60,s & 70,s we loved it when mum was cooking up the fish fingers😁 we also looked foward to the friday roast, fish & chips, i miss Nz and those days, Gods Own country.

I tried squid chips for the first time the other night. So good if you can get them there where you are. So delicious. Had seafood pizza made by myself. I make the dough as well. That had mussels fish and squid on it. yummo. Well done mate. Another great camp vid 👌

There is another spot here you can have dogs but you paying $20 a night to camp next to a railway line and a state highway lol
