Ok. Hard to find the model you want. This is it. I need to replace the primer bulb, and dont know how to remove the panel. I didnt want to break the ignition, and the choke switch, and had no idea what wss under it waiting to rip open or break sumpin. I think I can go in and pull the thing out. It looks like it in the parts catolugues online... orobably breaks coming out but I will have a replacement on standby now that I see how it looks. If that fails, I taker in to 5 Day Phil, and he will get it running for me. My machine was used abfew times and sat for a few years. Its still like new, but I guess it needs a cleaning and some proper preparation by a Pro. Thanks for the vid Sir. 🇨🇦👊🏻👨🏻🏭⚡💖
My snowblower is the exact same one in video. It is 1 season old and won't start. Sounds like not getting fuel after pressing primer bulb. Is this common with this model?
I had an issue with it after I cleaned the carb. I think it's possible the seal on the carb came lose. If you do any carb work do it outside there will be a bit of gas that spills. Mine was caused because after I cleaned the carb I didn't fit the bowl back correct
It doesn’t start every season for me 🙄 With storage gas or without. Every season I drain fuel, clean carb and add new spark plug. It’s a great blower aside from its storage reliability.
I'm not sure if there is one. I bought a transfer pump and use that to siphon out the old oil. If you use the recommended synthetic oil it should last several years between changes. "WHICH SPARK PLUG SHOULD I BUY for A briggs & stratton snow blower 950 series", MY QUESTION IS VERY SIMPLE, BUT THEY SHOWS OVER AND OVER " THE WAY TO CHANGE IT". VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTATED.
Pull out your spark plug and cross reference the part number, or look at your manual, or use the serial number and use this web site www.briggsandstratton.com/na/en_us/support/faqs/browse/identifying-the-correct-spark-plug-and-gap.html I'm sorry I don't know your exact spark plug but I don't have a 950, I have a 922 and don't want to give bad info.
Thank you , thank you for taking the time and recording.
Thanks for the video, I was wondering how to get that knob off. Huge help.
the owners manual doesnt say the spark plug number
Great video .I was like you trying to find where the spark plug was, so thanks

Thanks, very useful. I've got an 1150, but it looks very similar. 👍😎
Thank you, very good information.
I checked to manual, plug gap is .030, with a 180lb/in torque. Have the same issue with mine.
Great 👍 info!!
Thank you!!!
to get the choke knob off you just pried it off without breaking it.... boy mine is on there tight, I am worried it might break...
I used a flathead screwdriver and wiggled it a little bit on each side and yeah it's on tight I also thought I was going to break it
I also struggled to find my spark plug. What is the name and size of the device used to tighten the spark plug? My tool doesn't reach the spark plug.
I used a spark plug socket and a ratchet extension

Do you know where the oil plug is?
