Today we are doing my first follow up video, driven by comments to a previous video on the channel. We had a number of folks asking about connecting either the Transmitter or the Receiver to a computer and what to expect.
This video discusses and demonstrates connecting the Transmitter and the Receiver to your computer via a USB C cable.
    Enjoy!!!

I've done some test with the internal transmitter recordings (X5). Whilst I didn't experience any glitches, I notice that during my 1 hour record the audio was getting slightly out of sync (only a few frames) with the audio recorded on my camera (using the output of the receiver). This is quite common with consumer recorders - as the internal clock differs between products. I found that to fix the issue, I had to split the 60 minute recording into four 15 minute segments and sync them up individually - which only took a couple of minutes. Less experienced editors might not even notice this problem - but I thought it was worth mentioning. :)

very helpful. Firts, I would not have connected the Transmitters themselves to the computer. So, without this video… 2nd, for some rasons I did not push in the (white) cable all the way into the tansmitters slot. So it was not really connected.. After i kind of forced it in, it all worked.

Wow that's weird. I have thought logically that the receiver itself is the where the disk is located and that all recordings are saved there. Especially when you record mono and the signals are thus blended. So does that mean when I record mono using both tx the same track is recorded on both transmitters?

Hello! I have a question. Is it possible to turn on mute on the transmitter? I watched several reviews from different channels, but this moment was not shown.

    Thankyou Eric
Just bought a Neewer CM28 for Use with DaVinci Resolve. I'm interested in your editing workflow. Can't figure out how to get Sm or stereo mode working on the CM28. I set the receiver to either Sm or stereo mode however when I download audio recording from the transmitter/mic & bring it into Resolve, resolve reports the audio as a mono recording.

Stereo mode is when you have both transmitters active. One transmitter will be the right channel while the other transmitter will be the left channel. This allows you to mike up two people and have independent recordings for each person.
I can make a video on this if you would find it helpful.
      Let me know.
      Thank you!
      Eric

A couple of questions: Does it happen on both transmitters and have you tried connecting to other computers?

@@EricJoyce24Update! I have this working. Thanks so much again for the clear video! In my case the USB C needed to be plugged in tighter until it made a clicking sound. I was being a little gentle I think! Thanks so much!

Hi Eric, thanks for the update!
But just to be clear as I understand Fulaim solved the internal recording issue with the new transmitter they sent you , right? I am planning to order it but if that issue still going on I would consider to choose another brand.

I did one test where I recorded for over 10min on the transmitter and it had no problems.
I can’t say that it’s been fixed only that the new unit did not seem to have the issue.

I had the same problem which I only found out after owning it for 6 months. I reached out to Fulaim anyway and they immediately sent me a new set with the record problem solved. I did several 30-minute long tests and sync was frame-perfect from beginning to end. So definitely test your unit when you first get it to be sure it's working properly, but know Fulaim will cover you for this known issue.
