So I did a full replay of WH40k:RT and used this build for my main and all of the updated companion builds. So amazingly OP! Most of the time I would give an extra turn to this main and that would be it for the whole fight in the first turn. Loved it!

Absolutely hilarious item for this build. After a few rounds of lynchpin, it is capable of dealing 1000+ damage to every enemy in combat even if you have no line of sight to them.
As a note, if you are playing with Kibellah she can reach dogmatic fanatic and can equip the Litany of empyrean fury which procs damage to all enemies on the map equal to the resolve of the caster. With that you can pretty much just buff your party and kill all adds on the map.
Hope you revisit the builds for all the companions, and maybe throw a fun Rogue Trader build that is either fellowship-heavy or INT-heavy with Calculated Relations, while also being useful in combat. It feels wrong to me in a game like this to not have the MC at least partially be the talky face of the party.
Love your content as always, cRPG Bro. Psykers have a special place in my heart, so I'm excited to try this build. Haven't played RT for a while now, so this is a perfect time to get back to it. I don't know if you have any control over this, but there are lots of ads on this video. I think there were at least 20 ad breaks. I know you're trying to make the channel work financially, but is there any way to tone this down a bit? Do channel members get to avoid ads?
The Cultist Hood you get from helping Argenta on Footfall is BY FAR the best helmet in the game for psykers. The loss of Psy Rating on the helm of Joyeues doesn't matter at all, because in exchange you get infinite AP to spam all of your attacks with. It is truly busted.
Basically running with the same build but instead of Pyromancy, I'm giving Telepathy a try with Psychic Assault which is similar to Cassia's conal Lidless Stare. Will use your build for my Heretic run as Pyromancer. That firestorm looks more warp purple damage than just orange-yellow flamey firestorm from most fantasy games, which I actually like. Still, I want a Fulmimancer or Lightning focused Psyker. Just having the staff, Thunder Hammer, and Arc Rifle is not enough bzoingy VFX for me.
If I could wish for guide I would like to you try a DPS + initiative monster. So a character that stacks Agility and Perception, which influence the initiative roll, and board clearing potential. Meaning you would naturally always start before any enemy and just wipe them. Maybe Bladedancer/Assassin?
Thank you so much for the builds, you put out so much amazing content and it's really appreciated!! Just a quick question, since it only needs 15 points in Heretic (unless I'm misremembering), would something like the Chaos Bodyglove (flat 15% damage buff to psyker powers) be a good lategame armor option for this build, or is it kinda meh because it doesn't work with staves? Thank you again!
This looks really fun, but do you also have a build focused on persuation/intimidation? Since we play a Rogue Trader, for the sake of roleplaying a build that can talk circles around others would be really cool.
Do you have any suggestions for Jae now they nerfed the hero's footsteps build you linked here? Is she still viable or just very meh now with all the nerfs?
hey and thanks for all your builds :) i have a question to ask, coz i just started the game for the first time, sry if it was asked a million times. for this build, which are the good options for party? coz i decided to went with the builds from the pinned comments without the officer psyker, but just heard in your Kibellah video, that if u use her u dont use abelard :) so i know its pretty up to the players personal taste but, what would be your suggestion for the party ? :) thanks again
Face of the Sovereign and Von Valancius cloak aren't attainable unless you bought pre-order DLC or something to that affect. Any other recommendations?
Kinda sucks that unfair difficulty is "blast them first or be blasted". I want to make a burning dot pyro with a new executioner archetype, but afraid my squad will be wiped before it comes online, lol.
Yeah unfair isn't actually all that fun imo. Best playthrough I've had was hard and I was nerfing myself to not have insane alpha strikes. Proper battles.
Thankfully after another look at it, Executioner can be quite OP as you have multiple ways of inflicting the DOT damage even on your turn, I cover it here: It's ruclips.net/video/DF9T7g5lbGI/видео.html
I always thought arch militant was the best for a blaster psyker, because you can stack versatility so easily. Do you have any thoughts on the pros and cons of arch vs master tactician?
Ill still need to have room for skills like fellowship ones but ill look at this. I dont want spam or turn spam Gun skill being damage was interesting and unexpected. I'll pribably try and see how i can get social skills and focus more on fire rather than holy emperor type psyker stuff. I gotta see if tactical advantage and stuff feels spammy.
They are from the new Void Shadows DLC! Denial of Nightmares is from the new Astropathic Station planet in Act 1, Book is from Freight Line area in the ship for the first DLC quest.
Is this game worth it on console ? I’ve been watching a lot of videos on rogue trader and heard that recently with the update a lot of patches came through and the game improved in a lot of areas. I just want to know if the improvements were only for PC or if the game is worth buying on console
How is molten beam disappointing? When that never stop shooting triggers you want that free molten beam. Also you cant always use firestorm because of alies or your own party. You can almost always use molten beam. Press the advantage on double burn is better than on just x1.
Damn, i just started a playthough with the main character office build of AOE damage, sadly i cant respec homeworld or class, but this pyromancer build seems way more fun.. I'm still in act 1, after getting Cassia, should i reset?
@@leevothas I better reset then, because lv 35 will almost be near endgame i think, i have little time to play, so i will probably take weeks and weeks to finish this game
It can be fun indeed, but I'd rather it on a melee focused character as this build won't really be getting criticals with spells, outside of Pyro Staff Inferno ability, but I'd rather Emperor's Wrath starting from Act 2 onwards from Sanctic Staff.
so whats the point of picking the pyro talents when emperor's wrath does so much more damage? just so that your act 1 is smooth until you get the staff?
Yes, plus Pyro Talents like Backdraft ALSO work with Emperor's Wrath! Pyro Ignite/Firestorm costs 1 AP only too and doesn't require high Resolve stacking, which you won't have at the very beginning of battle so it's nice to use to kill enemies & build up Resolve.
Is this build locked to specific morality choices? People often say psykers have to be Dogmatic for Eyes of Joyeuse, but it looks like you're playing this character as somewhat Iconoclast.
WHy the hell people care so much about that dumb helmet? Sure it increases you damage, but not so much that you cant play Heretic or Iconoclast psyker. Just treat the origin like this helmet does not exist.
@@Altmer353 It gives you like 3 extra psy rating constantly and you only have like 4 psy rating when you get it; it practically carries psykers through acts 2 and 3 and even into endgame.
@@MomirViggwilv When i could get it, i already had 5 psy rating. And when you get it it gives you only 2. By the time it starts to give you 3 you already have staff that gives you 2 more and dark visionary hood that gives you 10 bonus WP and 15% psychic increase damage(essentially that it is equal to +1 psy rating). If you are a heretic you gain passive talent that any psychic phenomena gives you more momentum, couple that with passive talent that gives even more momentum per phenomena and gives psy rating after every heroic action. Heretic psyker gets insane momentum and resolve gain, faster than anyone else. Add to it psyker's plate that gives you +1 psy rating after every psychic phenomena or perril + grimoire that increases chance of psychic phenomena by 15% and additional psy damage. You dont need this stupid helmet. It only gives a very noticeable bonus for the first 10 hours after you get it. Then other items and talents start to kick in and it becomes irrelevant. You dont notice its absence in heretic playthrough at all, because you have other alternatives. Only Iconoclast may have bit more trouble with building up alternatives, but even on that path you dont need it.
@@cRPGBro Thank you for the answer. I google it, and there was zero information. It's frustrating that there are 100% info on all items in BG3 on net but W40K: RT ? Not so much.
@@cRPGBro Thank you for the answer. I google it, and there was zero information. It's frustrating that there are 100% info on all items in BG3 on net, but W40K: RT ? Not so much.
OK I should have picked higher difficulty, daring is way too easy with this build. Poor bosses do not even have chance to act before they get killed with Jae and Cassia giving my char extra turns :D
Telepath can still be good due to some talents and the fact you even have a Psyker spell similar to Cassia's Lidless stare that hits a huge area + damage + stun. However I do think earlier it's easier to play Pyro due to less AP cost on your main offensive power, earlier AoE access & also the ability to still move after attacking with spells.
@@cleebe6905 Maybe you're just older than me. Ears don't have that high of a range with age. Definitely not a tinnitus, as I don't hear that noise in any other video.
Welp, am happy for you guys. Doesn't change the fact that there's a high pitched noise in the background of this video for me, which is not there for any other video, both from cRPG bro and other creators. Wish I knew what the reason is.
Stats wise, it's Fellowship. Skills wise, basically Officer Air of Authority & Voice of Command since it also increases Fellowship. Talents wise, it depends but Master Tactician has Nerves of Steel and Personal Involvement.

It's definitely my new favorite Main Character build!
I am planning to make a pyro bladedancer and master tactician is definitely appealing to really hone in the spellblade aspect.
Similar to a build I was using but Operator->Executor instead. Pretty fun stuff using Pyro and Sanct.
Will you make an updated Noble Officer build with all the changes to it? It just feels like the more natural thing to play as the Rogue Trader.

@@cRPGBro ah cheers!
@@cRPGBro oh hell yeah! Can't wait trying this out. You're the best!
The King is BACK! (on a different game!)
"Experience... The GLORY of the EMPEROR! THROUGH MEEEEEEE!"
FINALLY
Is a telepath psyker any good? I really like mix of damage and CC, but not sure about the damage part of psyker
I always thought arch militant was the best for a blaster psyker, because you can stack versatility so easily. Do you have any thoughts on the pros and cons of arch vs master tactician?
Estava procurando uma build para psyker AGORA mano kkkkkkk
I've always wondered, who are the best party members for this kind of MC? Aside from bringing an Officer merc.
Ill still need to have room for skills like fellowship ones but ill look at this. I dont want spam or turn spam
Gun skill being damage was interesting and unexpected.
I'll pribably try and see how i can get social skills and focus more on fire rather than holy emperor type psyker stuff. I gotta see if tactical advantage and stuff feels spammy.
Never seen that Book of War Prayers and Denial of Nightmares items before and I thought I knew Act 1 pretty well. Where do you find it?
They are from the new Void Shadows DLC!
Denial of Nightmares is from the new Astropathic Station planet in Act 1, Book is from Freight Line area in the ship for the first DLC quest.
Please some kind of main character blade dancer build!
Works well with pyro so far I'm finding. Assasin might work later on.
Will you be doing a Pyro Bladedancer/Executioner?
Not convinced executioner is the best pick here.
Yep, it's here at last and quite OP: ruclips.net/video/DF9T7g5lbGI/видео.html
Hey are the companion guides usable/up to date after update 1.2?
Damn, i just started a playthough with the main character office build of AOE damage, sadly i cant respec homeworld or class, but this pyromancer build seems way more fun.. I'm still in act 1, after getting Cassia, should i reset?
You would have your chance past 35 level as the final archetype allows you to take unsactioned psyker talent.
@@leevothas I better reset then, because lv 35 will almost be near endgame i think, i have little time to play, so i will probably take weeks and weeks to finish this game
Depends on difficulty you're playing. If on unfair then reset would be advised if on lower just Play and learn mechanics
You can respesc with Toybox mod I believe.
Thoughts on Voidborn homeworld? Bloody Mess can be really nice.
It can be fun indeed, but I'd rather it on a melee focused character as this build won't really be getting criticals with spells, outside of Pyro Staff Inferno ability, but I'd rather Emperor's Wrath starting from Act 2 onwards from Sanctic Staff.
What is best conviction for Psyker?
Esse sotaque eu conheco em, eh br com certeza hahaha
so whats the point of picking the pyro talents when emperor's wrath does so much more damage? just so that your act 1 is smooth until you get the staff?
Yes, plus Pyro Talents like Backdraft ALSO work with Emperor's Wrath!
Pyro Ignite/Firestorm costs 1 AP only too and doesn't require high Resolve stacking, which you won't have at the very beginning of battle so it's nice to use to kill enemies & build up Resolve.
Woe to those that got into the game too late to get those nice items
Thankfully there's always ToyBox Mod for that!
Are you going too make a updated noble officer build I am new to the game
is your officer psyker still useable? Starting for the first time and was interested in that one
It is still quite good, I have released an updated build for Officer Psyker here: ruclips.net/video/qx_Bs-8MYDw/видео.html
I double whoever else wants pyromancer/melee hybrid.
I noticed in your how to play section you have the word of the emperor ability and use it, but in your guide you never said to take the ability?
It's gained for free once you take the Sanctic Psyker school!
I always believed in Master Tactition.
Is there any chance of making a psyker/melee hybrid
How about a Noble officer build?
I doubt it’s any good but I wanted to try blade of the emperor sanc psyker with bladdancer
Please provide a build for a psyker blade dancer I beg
Guys does someone know where you can find the breacher sergeant’s armour in the game?
Can someone pls tell me where to find bloody pact?
Temple of the Bloodspinner at the end of the first DLC Quest in Freight Line, inside a chest there.
@@cRPGBro Thank you for the answer. I google it, and there was zero information. It's frustrating that there are 100% info on all items in BG3 on net but W40K: RT ? Not so much.

OK I should have picked higher difficulty, daring is way too easy with this build. Poor bosses do not even have chance to act before they get killed with Jae and Cassia giving my char extra turns :D
How does a Telepath psyker play now? Is it completely outclassed by pyro?
Telepath can still be good due to some talents and the fact you even have a Psyker spell similar to Cassia's Lidless stare that hits a huge area + damage + stun. However I do think earlier it's easier to play Pyro due to less AP cost on your main offensive power, earlier AoE access & also the ability to still move after attacking with spells.
An unfortunate high pitched sound in the background of this one. Still, nice build guide. =)
What? Bro get your ears checked, you may have Tinnitus, there was no high pitched sound.
@@cleebe6905 Maybe you're just older than me. Ears don't have that high of a range with age. Definitely not a tinnitus, as I don't hear that noise in any other video.
Nope can't hear anything. I'm old!
Welp, am happy for you guys. Doesn't change the fact that there's a high pitched noise in the background of this video for me, which is not there for any other video, both from cRPG bro and other creators.
Wish I knew what the reason is.
Moar!
may i reset build at a point when i can chose the rome world?
Nope, it's only from Level "2"+ (not from Character Creation so no Home World/Background etc.)
People keep telling me if i play pyro i need to be heretical is that true
Not at all, Dogmatic has the highest benefits for any Psyker, especially Pyro for higher Psy Rating AND higher Fire damage.
Bro, please tell me they did not nerf my baby girl Cassia
they did
noooooo! Is she still somewhat OP?
All officers are still very strong.
@@Mravenrocks I'm more concerned about her Navigator abilities, it's what made her unique AND super OP
which talent add resolve again?
Stats wise, it's Fellowship.
Skills wise, basically Officer Air of Authority & Voice of Command since it also increases Fellowship.
Talents wise, it depends but Master Tactician has Nerves of Steel and Personal Involvement.
litany of empyrean fury also do dmg every cast of psy;how much hp enemy got on unfair? 70 dmg per cast if resolve is 70
I used the strength to get power armour pro
