    Always thought I had an especially discerning eye… until I watched this video. You win.

      @@thelandcruiserproject any chance you know where I might find the struts that hold the third row seats upright (cargo mode)? Mine are lazy and fall while driving. Either that or I’m completely missing the proper way to keep them upright (lock). That and the rear AC fan not working are really the only two things wrong with our 01. 320k miles and still feels new.

      @@ryanteterThe seats are kept upright with a strap and hook that is attached to each seat. The strap goes from the seat to the overhead grab handle.

      @@thelandcruiserproject a look at the owner’s manual might’ve saved me from such a dumb question. Bring on the flaming… thanks for the graceful reply 😬

    You provide a service that is impossible to turn into AI. Well done.

    Seller is probably doing backflips with a sell price of $12,250. Still too much money in this economy lol

    Learned a lot about buying one of these, or anything, used. Thank you. Question: were the 200 series as well known for rust as the 100?

    • @thelandcruiserproject
      @thelandcruiserproject  Год назад

      The welds on the 200s frame rust first, but the frames of the 200 overall seem to be holding up better. But it's hard to tell because they are 10 years newer. There are some real rusty 200s out there.

      Makes sense. Thank you. I’ll keep an eye out, I’ll keep spraying that “Salt Away,” and I’ll cross my fingers.

    This is nothing. Most older cars in the northern cities where the roads are salted are in much worse shape.
    None of these things cannot be fixed or are legit deal breakers

      Did I say they were deal breakers? They should affect the consideration of value, shouldn't they?
