@@mahi98goodguy i have not much ridden, only 2500 km. I am satisfied , it is for relax Driveing , not for aggressive drive. For fun you can use peddle shifter. Smooth gear shift in automatic, ventilation seating is good features. Fuel economy 12-16/L

Wish you would hv also explained the exact set up for overtakes on highway or in city traffic when in D-mode or if we take control via paddle shifters+M mode . Are overtakes confident enough with this gear box .?? I hv been using VW- DSG so I want to have a reference drawn accordingly as I want to hv this car as my family car .
I think compared to DSG this gear box will feel quite slow, the downshift does take a hard press on the accelerator and then a second to change. Using paddle shifters does help in quick overtakes but yes in those situations the engine does feel a bit under powered. The above is just when you compare it with a DSG, but if you are ok to plan ur moves and use the paddle shifters then it does get the job done and is good enough. I would say it's not for the enthusiastic driver but if ur more keen on milage, practicality and reliability for a family car then it's a great buy.

If we are in mountains and road is very steep then which will perform better in terms of power - Baleno AMT ( gear system)or Torque converter like in this car.
Sometimes in manual we use half clutch in hilly area can we use the same technique here as there is no clutch paddle, can we use half break paddle with a bit acceleration to make sure that car will not rollback during hill climb?
Automatic cars like the XL6 have a hill hold assist which means that even if you completely lift off your foot from the brake, the car will not roll back for 3 seconds. In these 3 seconds you are supposed to adjust the accelerator so that you can climb up with the required speed. Hence no need for the half pressing you talked about.
Only reason I watched this video was to understand when to press the button on the lever, without pressing it I am able to change modes, when should that button be used and when should not?
If we are in D mode and cruising on highway then can we use paddle shifter to downshift without manually changing the gearbox to M or every time we have to use paddle shifters we have to first change gear to M ?

Yes clutch system is there but it is automated. Staying in D for a few seconds at signals / start stop traffic isn't an issue. However for longer stops, advisable to go into N (and use brake pedal or hand brake) or P

Hi we have the xl6 automatic , it's still under 1000 kms , but the first gear holds for really long upto 3000 sometimes in D mode and the engine become quite vocal and vibrations are felt Is this normal or should we address this issue
May be you are trying to accelerate quickly, if you press the accelerator hard then the gear box holds the shift longer in D mode. But in case you are facing the same issue in light footed acceleration as well then you might want to get it checked in the first service.
It is not creep function and it is the behaviour of any automatic vehicle that once the brake is released it start moving in first gear(tc).I have driven many torque converted cars and find the one with 6 gear using with 1.5 l engine by maruti is with the worst performance.Now I understand why Suzuti do not have any market in the middle east.They are just one in a lakh with a name Cherokee.

No worries, there are in built safety features. If you move from D to N to D, the system adjusts clutch and rpm by itself. But don't do it often

At 60 kmph, the gearbox will drop to 2nd gear if you press the accelerator pedal completely
