Thank you for this tutorial as I just wrapped my wing spoiler from a Ford Focus which blends / fits very nicely on my 2005 Audi Allroad but I must redo it because even though it is not my 1st time wrapping, the complex curves & shpes were not addressed correctly & it's carbon fiber 5D gloss wrap which now I know needs more heat. So on to phase 2 then redoing the roof....
And now that that's over, I've been waiting days to see you wrap this lol.

This is awesome on so many levels, firstly, Canadian! Nice, secondly I literally just found you on youtube because I typed in "vinyl wrap spoiler" into the search! definitely subscribed and liked. It should go without saying but pro tip for anyone, make sure your knife blade is brand new, ran into that mistake more than once!

Im trying to build up the confidence to have a go at wrapping from 22 year old shit box , its lacquer is all peeling on the "bonnet" and the arches have seen better days rust wise but i cant afford a full body respray let alone a new car but i just dont know whether or not wrapping on top on dubious paint is worth it
I've been curious if the vinyl will stick to my faded clear coat as well

Few questions if cool.
I bought a spoiler and it's along they same as a Type R it's a kit and came with total seven peices that includes the two covers to hide the bolt section.
1-So my question is where do you put the knifless tape around edges (before edge ,on edge ,or over the edge) so it doesn't bubble or wrinkle.
2- next peice I install how do I get a perfect edge to match that knifeless tape edge we did on last section ? Again do we over lap the wrap 1/8 in or line it up with the edge that's installed so no over lap at all?
Basically asking how to line up the tape from 1st to 2nd to 3rd move etc so each peice matches.
Lastly when you put the spoiler together did you glue it then bolt together or just bolt. And whete it attached to car did you use a weather stripping tape on the bottom (,hidden edge) so water can't get in there.
First timer , did hood but nothing like this
