Thanks for the incredible amount of efforts you have put into this. Learning to play these Jonny licks is still driving me nuts, realy one of a kind. I also love how you kinda turn into each RH member (except for Phil haha). Would love to see the "making of" , did you start with Thom's section or the drums etc, would be super interesting. Again, great great job.
Seems like Radiohead is your life and man... Thats a good thing, you (and also your band) are incredible talented. Such an extremely trusty renditions you are making - if there are no more Radiohead, they will live in your performances!
The Jonny's part in this song makes confuse. This song have much rythm, I love it! Great job, I love how you put the live version and the studio version together
top job!!! love how you've given it a The Smile flavour with the dotted 8ths(without delay) on the tele from about 1:20 i wonder what would sound like with a bit more delay and mixed higher. anyways, great stuff as always 👍👍
I‘m absolutely amazed! How do you know what to play? Some on the guitar parts you end up barely hearing so how can you distinguish them and decide how to play it?
Thanks!! Just lots of careful listening (playing with panning to try to isolate their parts), watching their hands in live videos, and looking up tabs and deciding my own interpolations!
Finally, I was going to ask you if it was in your plans to cover this song and I wake up on a beautiful Sunday day with this notification, I listen to a lot of Radiohead covers and you my friend It's the best of all the channels on this vast RUclips, I even download your covers and put them on my phone, hope you don't mind. Big hug from Brazil
I'm truly taken aback at how beautifully, perfectly, and skill-fully you put together your covers, and this one is no different. Please, keep doing what you do, because I love it. ps, please do some more thom yorke solo covers, I'd love to see something like harrowdown hill or the clock be replicated just as well as you always do!
Hey Joe, just dropping back to ask - what pedals/effects are you using on Ed's part during the "In you I'm lost" bit? It's amazing, and I can't find anyone talking about it anywhere!
Yep, it’s a delay pedal set to a 5/16th repeat! I talk about it a bit in my video on Jonny’s delay pedal tricks. ruclips.net/video/U-5W1LOWkfw/видео.html
@@JoeEdelmann3 that's very intriguing actually. Glad I noticed that. Are you and There, There ever planning on playing in Seattle? The Showbox SoDo would be a perfect venue for you guys!
I mean, I know Radiohead is not known for interacting with the fans a whole lot and all that stuff but... you can't be oblivious when things like this happen. At least an acknowledgement for Joe and Taka's musicianship.
@@yamashitacoversbyjulianroel I’m sure Thom wouldn’t interact, but it’s be amazing if Ed, Colin or Phil ever let it be known that they’d seen and appreciated Joe and Taka’s work!
I'm pretty sure when they meet Thom after a concert he will recognize Joe. "You are the guys doing this covers aren't you? So if we get tried and can't do your job anymore you can step in"
I'm so fucking love this Greenwood's guitar parts and you made the same like him
dude, this is brilliant. really.
Wow man this is amazing
Maravilla! Enhorabuena 👏👏👏
Great work as always!
Thanks David!
Это было очень круто!
Distance is like a weapon...
This song is magic when the shaker falls away and the synth comes in
This is insanely good, thank you ❤️
The way you introduced the bass >>>
Ugh Jonny’s arpeggio is chefs kiss, absolutely beautiful

Jonny-arpeggio-tastic! Really helped me to appreciate that part of the song in particular, seeing you do it.

This was my first radiohead song which made my fall in love with them.
i fucking love your covers man
Man i ADMIRE your musianship. Truly great. Radiohead and Led Zeppelin also are my two favorite bands 😂❤
Truly excellent. Uncanny is the word. To say it’s a cover doesn’t do it justice. Always happy to see something new from you pop up - thankyou!
Why not? It’s a cover of the “campfire version” that Thom & Jonny made. The arrangement is a straight copy
WORRYWORT NEXT PLEEEEAASSEEE
So much talent bro, gave me the gosebumps

In case of emergencies
Incredible as always 🤘🏻❤️
Love the combination from different versions you did here.
Right on
When the drums kicked in I had a out of the body experience
To truly cover Radiohead, you've got to have THAT. Nice work.
Awesome - thx for doing these - really brings the parts out in technicolor to appreciate even more - thx man
Great song by Edelhead
Just beautiful - one of my new favorites!
You're rock, man! Just incredible! Wonderful job! Pls don't stop bring to us your amazing "covers".
Must be the numerb 1 fan of radiohead in da world
would love to see you play at one of our summer festivals in Portugal.
Great job! I'm subscribe now, Radiohead is the best band ever.
So powerful and smooth! Looking forward for the next ones!
Another great cover ! Thanks Joe for continuing to upload your amazing work.

There is delay during that part! The same 5/16 as Thin Thing! I’m only playing half those notes, though it does look a little weird on camera 😂
@@JoeEdelmann3 ah yes Thin thing, i knew i could hear something but didn't hear that . im dumb!

Perfection
Amazing! And love the lemon shaker!!
YOU DID IT!!!
This is my favorite track of them :) Glad you finally covered it! Awesome stuff.
What a beautiful cover and mixing, i can clearly hear every single guitar, you're a pro man🔥

Thanks!! I believe I used a shimmer delay (+octave) maybe mixed with a light flange chorus and some analog delay?
@@JoeEdelmann3Thanks for answering this Joe! Keep up the good work !!
Joe, do you plan to cover Free in the Knowledge and Speech Bubbles?
Hoping to with Taka eventually!
this is amazing
In you I'm lost...
Perfection as usual amigo 💥
I can tell you really badly wanted to go for the high G like in the Latitude performance, but you decided to stay faithful to the record.
Beautiful as always !!!
I think this song would sound amazing in an acoustic version
do bones on the bends next!
Amazing
Nice cover
Great job 👏🏼
Amazing!!!!
is jonnys guitar part using a pedal or is it just a mad technique, if its a pedal I need it

amazing as always joe! did you change your camera btw? looks great :D
Thanks!! A little while back, upgraded to a Sony A7 IV! ☺️
Move over Thom, we have a new angel
mom where are the lemons
will Taka ever return?
Of course he will! We’ve got some things to return to soon
Am I supposed to be able to see this? Good cover though
Haha whoops I guess I added it to a public playlist as I was setting it up. Congrats, you’ve won the secret prize! 😂 thanks!
tell us more about it lmao
Anyone else like to think the shaker face was Oooooh'ing at 24 secs?
😂😂😂
that’s why he’s the goat…THE GOAT
What's happening
I noticed Jonny's part in this song almost sounds like the beginning of Thin Thing. Of course it's different but I can hear the similarities.

If they are short of hand on a live version because they went too far on the studio, they know who to call to fill in a missing line. Any line 😄
Jonny reposted a 8bit cover on in rainbows before. So he at least does some interaction
i expected the worst but presently surprised
