My second session with Venture trucks! FD skate 402.

So the previous session, I skated Venture trucks for the very first time. It felt pretty good, with one exception and that was the kickflip. I went from having a really solid and consistent kickflip to mostly being able to land rocket flips. The Venture trucks have a longer wheel base which can make the tail of the board feel a bit more heavy to pop, and I think that was the main reason that my kickflip got all rockety. But that's nothing wrong with the truck. I just need some time to get my old body and brain to adjust to the longer wheel base. This session I tried to force my brain to focus on the pop, by doing the kickflip over an obstacle, so check out the video if you think that sounds interesting. You make it seem easy to kickflip over something. I might have to try that one of these days, but for now, I need my kickflips to get higher and more consistent. Nice work.

I got lucky! 😅 The obstacle is good because it forces me to focus on the pop and the ollie part of the trick, which helps with getting the kickflip a bit higher and also more level. Good luck with the trick! 😊

You've got bigger wheels and a smaller tail from the truck change= steeper pop. Your kickflips are now higher and more tweaked as a bonus though now you've adjusted the flick

Your kickflips defo looked better over the obstacle, even if you wasn't landing them all. I think if you just give it a little time they will be like this on flat on too. You have the hard bit down, your still landing pretty much everyone. The technique will come as you get used to the weight and high of the new trucks.

hehe, no I haven't. I have hesitated with the 50-50s, since I thought I would be able to sell the trucks if I have not grinded hem. Once I have decided to keep skating the truck - I will start to practice my lame 50-50s again! 😁 Thanks man! 🙏
