Heartworm Video 2012 - Morgan Animal Hospital

Heartworm microfilaria seen under the microscope at different magnifications. The microfilaria are produced from the adult heartworm living in the heart and blood vessels of the lungs. They are seen here in a single drop of blood on a microscope slide swimming amongst red blood cells.
