I’m flying to Singapore next Sunday. 🎉I can barely wait to be there again. One of my favourite cities in the world. ❤❤❤
Very interesting to hear the painting process. I like the ambience sound - so that's how urban sketching felt like!
I enjoyed watching this on Patreon. Thank you!
This is a great tutorial Teoh your sketching of this scene is well done I like the loose sketching and how you explain the perspective like how close the people are standing near to far , and how yo make sure the lines aren’t left opened the colors are great ❤ sherbear here
Great video, great instruction!! Thank you so much! ❤
drawing outside brings many challenges! thank you for showing how you deal with them! i don't have a sketching channel only IG therefore i can't be transparent on my journey, but i want to say i started sketching again in big part bc of your videos, so thank you! i am at a point of my journey where i think ' loose sketch does not mean inconsiderate' - meaning proportions and perspective are still correct. i am at about 15 mi of your video, and i am not sure if a reference photo is different from what you see, but it seems you took a lot of freedom with your proportions here.. seems different from your other art.
It would be nice to see the sketches you made on the same location in different occassions😊 I like to use oil based charcoal pencils as well👍
Well done. The darker color pulls us closer to the Tempel. Maybe that paper would be better for markers. Thank you, Teoh 💚🖌️📚
Great video, so instructive to see the entire process! I always thought you also loved Hansa Yellow Deep as well?
Hansa Yellow Deep is nice. But I am moving house now so that colour/tube is in storage
Hi Teoh,
Thank you for sharing again your process. It is very instructive. I can see that you changed Burnt Sienna for Red oxyde in your mini palette. would you mind sharing your thoughts after using both colors ? which do you prefer and why ?
Transparent Red Oxide has more granulation. So if you want more texture, that's the pigment to go for.
@@teohyc Thank you Teoh
Hi, great video, what kind of sketchbook is it ?
The colors on the left page of your sketchbook are more happy and bright. I think you felt different when you did that left sketch.
There's less mixing of colours hence they are more pure
@@teohyc you have a special gift, talent above others, and I enjoy seeing your videos. You are also a very nice person, an ambassador for your country and art in general.
It showed on the side earlier in the video. DaVinci casaneo travel watercolor brush.
Nice, 👌 44:46 what brand water brush are you using , any link please
DaVinci casaneo watercolor travel brush
@@cindyhorton6980 I mean the water filling brush brand not the regular brush
@@sarvanm826 I realized that just a little while ago! Sorry! 🙂
Hobein and Pentel
@@teohyc thanks for reply 🙏🏽
Hi Teoh! Can you show and explain How you hold the camera or selphone? Thank you!
I'm using a small table top tripod (lightweight but short) with vertical arm extension so that it can get taller. That tripod is just beside my left as I'm right handed, and just high enough to record the sketchbook that's on my lap while I'm seated on my portable stool.
@@teohyc And what camera do you use outdoors? Thank you!
@@JoseMariaColomina If I remember correctly Panasonic GH5 with Olympus 12mm f2 lens
