Thanks! As the cameraman and editor it's alot of work to put this together. It takes about 40-50 hours of editing per episode. I wish that I could do more! Thanks again for your comments - it's what keeps me going. TJ.
Thanks for the beautiful AND informative video. The ultra-light boat/plane was really cool! I could used to that in a heartbeat! Having lived in the tropics most of my life, it made me extremely homesick to see the pristine beaches and reefs (the other beauties walking around didn't hurt either!). Liked it all so much, I'm subscribing to your channel.
The hat I got at a surf shop in Cape May New Jersey about 10 years ago. I'm looking for another one. If I find one I'll be sure to post it here. Thanks again, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! TJ.
The weight belt is very important for skindiving in the swallower water where the rings are mostly found. (4-6ft deep) I almost didn't get the scuba tank. I really didn't want to put lead in my suitcase, but maybe next time I will. TJ
Thanks, I wish I found a gold ring thou. Most of these trips are experiments put into action to see what works best & what doesn't. I may never know till I get down there. Locally there is no problem with what gear to bring, but when traveling, I'm limited to two bags under 50lbs each. Renting may not be an option sometimes. The dive shop wouldn't rent me a weight belt. Really!
I stayed at the same resort you did 7 summers ago. I'm very surprised you didn't find tons of jewelry on that beach. Also you forgot to film the topless European women! LOL! There were quite a few there when I visited. (And most of them looked fantastic)
You can do a search on Punta Cana, and look for the "Melia Tropical Beach Restaurant" just North West of the Lagoon in the Bavaro Beach area. If you look close enough using satellite on google you may be able to see the giant blow up water slide on the beach. Last year Daniel operated just next to it, and next to the anchored boats. Have Fun - & I hope that you find him. TJ.
Presently I'm using the Excallibur-1, by minelab for most of my beach & water hunting. I also have an older Whites MXT-good for starters. Excallibur seems to discriminate better and detects down to about 12inchs. Checkout my friends site on detecting. Search: Southeastern Pennsylvania Historical Recovery Group in PA. Lots of good advice - feel free to contact. Thanks TJ
dude where did you get that hat i had the same one about two years ago and lost it in yosimite the quicksilver one please let me know have been looking for another one thanks what a good life you have cool video dude thanks
lol at the overly dramatic intro, you should go camp at the nature area, maybe detect for relics, or just get away from all the tourist crowds and relax

Someone should build a couple of those flying boats for Belize so you can hop from Caye to caye.

I love my country of birth it's so beautiful
It's certainly a beautiful place with lots of history & plenty of fun things to do. Don't think i'd ever get bored there. TJ
I'm glad to hear that you love the Dominican Republic so much
Need more cowbell in the music!
You were about 20 feet from the gold. Next time go into the water
Why would you expect to find anything worthwhile at a tacky resort filled with cheap, shallow tacky people?
