They're retconning mankind's entire history to make it so every major achievement was done by the Transformers instead of humans. What does that say about Bay's view of humanity? Now even the satisfying idea of Hitler being a fucking coward who killed himself to escape the consequences can't be true. Nope. A Transformer did it apparently.

The Harriet Tubman reveal I think made me and quite a few others in the audience laugh. And yeah, that's what I was thinking the writers probably thought: "We got trains w-oh, OH! Hold on, I got it! Underground railroad...the Transformers, WERE THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD!! I AM SUPER-CLEVER HIGH-FIVE ME GUYS!!"

One thing is for sure, I'm done with Transformers. Michael Bay is one of the worst directors in Hollywood, regardless of how much money he makes. Unless there is a HARD reboot with a new director in 10 years or so, I'm done with these stupid ass movies.
The worst thing is the whole knights thing was base on the old G1 Cartoon episode A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court Starcream and his side DeceptiBitches retreat in a nearby cave. After they wander inside they are transported to 543 A.D. Decepticons are wreaking knights shit left and right with no Autobots but then a wizard came IN and kicked their asses so hard they traveled back to their own time and Megatron is not happy they are back

Honestly, I can safely say this was one of the funniest 'Some Ol' Bullshit' movies I've seen. The dialogue is so silly and ridiculous, the plot is pure nonsense and it's so over the top, I was laughing my ass off. It's so awful, it's brilliant. I liked the Dino-Bots and Bumblebee though. They were fun.
All these reviews for this movie are coming out at almost the exact same time.

Anthony Hopkins was hilarious in this and truly seemed like he was on the same page with Michael Bay in the sense that he was just absolutely taking the piss out of the movie. He made the movie for me and gave me several belly laughs.

I remember when I watched the movie everyone laughed when the picture of Fredrick Douglas and Harriet Tubman. I literally imagine Bumblebee and Hot Rod fighting Barricade in the South, with Skids and Mudflap watching.

It'd be really great if Bay's movies did poorly in the box office. If that happened, the Big Wigs in Hollywood would stop loaning him money to make these shitty clusterfuck Transformers movies. Bay would be completely removed from his comfort zone and he would be forced to make better movies. The same thing happened to M. Night Shayamalan and look where he is now. He's making decent films again.

I made the mistake of playing this movie while laying in bed... after a while it felt like two hours and I dozed off. Woke up and it was still playing. 14:34 All I could think was if I were Megatron, why am I letting these ants dictate what I can do? Btw, it's an instant commercial... just pull out and air as a toy ad.
Well...If it make things less painful for you Kory, The Bumblebees Movie next year won't be directed by Michael Bay. Instead it will be Travis Knight, who directed Kubo and the Two Strings.

Laugh it up DT. You know who's also laughing? As in laughing all the way to the bank... Paramount and Michael Bay!!! Hate them, laugh at them all you want... but TF is a billion dollar money making machine!!! No studio in their right mind will just ditch all of that easy cheddah! As long as people continue to watch them, Paramount will continue to make them. And The Last Knight was sold out both nights I went by my local cinema.
