- One of the last and realy good Fun Movie from Jerry Lewis. I love many Jerry Lewis Movies, he is a real Genius and a very good Person. He created many great Comedy Movies for all Time with claim. The genius Movies are without Dean Martin. I dont like many new Comedy Movies....
Jerry has my heart......he gives his all when he is performing. I still cannot stop laughingout loud watching all his films...... my neighbors must think I am getting senile....if only they could know how happy my days are when I can watch this genius. God love him!
Like me, laughing out loud at home during the opening credits of The Patsy, my Dad walking out of the bedroom, looking at the television and me, shaking hi head and into the kitchen/exit stage left...right, no left!!!!!!!

Jerry Lewis is the funniest hilarious most brilliant comedian ever in history! No one matches him. He was just brilliant. I laugh and can't catch my breath. A delight, a blessing, a gift . Timeless. He is missed.
I love this scene when walks into a over waxed room. The jazz music is prefect for this skit. Every time he falls down I start laughing. Even the chairs are over waxed, he can't even sit down in them. Falls again, and falls again.
I have been looking for this scene ever since I first saw it as a little boy. It eluded me for years. But I loved this scene. Especially the m&ms

I can't figure this out - I don't like slapstick, never liked Lucy or the Three Stooges, but I think this is absolutely hilarious. I NEVER forgot this scene. I don't understand. I laugh until I cry. RIP Jerry, always loved you.
Never liked The Three Stooges? Honestly that is the first time in my life I've ever read that someone doesn't like The Three Stooges.

How everything is so shinny and slippery and the sounds it makes as he’s trying to get up. And trying to open those damm M&Ms and the paper rapers that wouldn’t end. This doesn’t come from a team of leaders who decide what’s funny and what’s not but this comes from one person with an incredible imagination.

I don't think I've ever seen this entire movie, only clips on youtube. But I guess this was Jerry's last attempt at making a classic 60's style "Jerry Lewis Comedy" in the 1980's just before he made King of Comedy and pretty much called it a day, as far as movies were concerned.
This was the last movie he directed. The King of Comedy was made by Martin Scorsese.

Wrong. Lewis got off Percocets in September 78. In interviews, he mentioned that the doctor that got him off Percocets gave him something else non addictive, but not what it was. Lewis always claimed that the adrenalin of performing was the best pain killer, though.
