      @@judjudersawn2596 there is definitely some truth there! Reminds me of a friend in dental school who was telling me all of the dental students were getting braces and veneers. I guess we all fall into these traps that society extends to us

    S- Site (Where is the pain located?) Can you point at the site of pain, just the most painful place ?
    R- Radiation (Where does this pain radiate?)
    N- Nature (Sharp Stabbing Pain, Dull Crampy pain)
    O- Onset ( When did you first get the pain?)
    P- Periodicity ( If the pain constant or it comes and go? How long does this pain will be there?) (How many time did you have this pain or when will you experience the pain?)
    D- Duration (How long did you get the pain?)
    S- Severity - On scale 0-10, how severe the pain?
    A- Aggravating- What makes the pain worst?
    R- Relieving - What makes the pain better? AVOIDING FOOD, medication
    A- Associated - What does associated with pain? Like vomit, fever, diarrhoea and so on

    I was really in need of how to take history in surgery as it differs a bit from the history we take in internal, next week I will start my internship and the first rotation will be in gastrointestinal surgery
    I really appreciate and it make sense the SRNOPDSARA, I was confused and looking for many sources to find out, but your video was extremely helpful and straightforward. will apply it during my rotations in surgery. thank you doctor for sharing your concept.
