If it doesn’t work disassemble the laptop and pick the faceplate and button so that they come off, the button breaks easily and gets stuck in the on position permanently - on thing to remember just the part that the button makes contact with and the faceplate around this button, NOT the entire metal casing. Next there is a thin metal sheet that will have a permanent impression, peel this off, with the metal sticker underneath. Next you’ll see three distinct metal contact points inside this button, once you have this visible, your laptop should start to work without the charger again

If your model doesn't have the pin reset on the back. Remove the battery and hold the power button for 30+ secs. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
so I've tried this method and everything you said it would do happened....but when the light went from orange to blue I pressed the on button and still nothing is happening at all. Should I wait longer for the charger as it didn't take that long from going orange to blue so should I just let it to charge for a few hours then try to turn it on again?

Usually around 2 hours for full charge. Try holding the power button for 15+ secs. This might help.
