I'm Letting High School Students Transform My '86 Chevy Into A Tesla-Powered Supercar

  • Kansas City's Operation Breakthrough is doing something incredible - they're changing lives by teaching real-world skills to kids who need it most. When I visited their Ignition Lab, these high school students showed me how they converted a classic Chevelle into a Tesla-powered masterpiece. So I did what any reasonable person would do - I handed them the keys to my '86 Chevy K10!
In this video you'll see that these aren't just any high school students. They pitched me two options for my truck: amazing and INSANE. We're talking dual Tesla Model 3 battery packs, 500-mile range, and a full show-quality restoration. When they tried sneaking past that $30,000 price difference... I knew we had to go all in.
Operation Breakthrough serves over 700 kids every day, from infants to teens, providing education, meals, and a safe place to learn and grow. The Ignition Lab is just one example of how they're teaching real skills that can change lives. Our family has been supporting OB for years but seeing it firsthand, these kids blew me away with what they can do.
Watch as these amazing students start the process of turning my square body Chevy into something Kansas City has never seen before. And trust me - this is just the beginning!
Enter to win '69 Chevelle - operationbreak...

This is a super cool program for these kids, and JK does a great job of high lighting it/them. Also, while an electric square body is for SURE going to piss off a lot of people, I love the fact that it's keeping the OEM Showroom look.. Awesome all around...

Here before the channel blows up. I love this. Seeing a more relatable side to people you see on tv is really nice.

I respect that when he was in the hot seat for another 30k he literally didnt blink on some "its for the kids" type shit, what a legend.

Electric square body, not my cup of tea, seeing a bunch of kids get the opportunity to work on a cool project, and learn real world skills, is my cup of tea. This is awesome!

You're a stud Jason. Miss seeing you on the field, but hell this is even better. Helping out the less fortunate is always the way it goes brother. Go Birds.

I love how Jason has made KC his second home and KC has adopted him as one of their own without ever playing here.
