Silver looks really nice, better than in other videos for some reason. Ordered black but now am rethinking my choice...
I do try to “go the extra mile” to record a high quality video with proper exposure and accurate color, knowing it could influence a purchase decision.
The silver does look really nice in person. I wasn’t 100% sure either after watching several videos because the black looked pretty good in some videos. All I can say is I definitely don’t regret getting silver.
Maybe you could visit a store to compare the colors in person?
The black is GORGEOUS..trust me, you wont regret it! I keep looking at mine and is not even remotely my first smart watch LOL
@wearablewhisperer That's a good idea. I have the watch 5 pro that is used for work and working out, but I wanted something a little more fancy when going out. I might just end up purchasing the silver to mix up my looks. I think I have a watch obsession 😂🤣😂🤣

Can you pls confirm if there were any plastic like over the sensor area that have to be removed? My GW6C sucks at recording sleep. Also what is that AOD on the GW6 on your right wrist, I like it!
I showed my entire unboxing, so if you didn’t see me remove any plastic over the sensor area, then I didn’t have to 😊 The AOD is the Pixel Minimal Watch Face.

As long as it can run Android 10 or higher, it should be compatible
Not able to get sms while not connecting to the mobile phone. How to solve this problem?
Placed the order after watching this video.... Got it in silver 47mm LTE version in India. Also got a few different bands including a D buckle one.

It's actually an inaccurate watch. Nothing's changed since the 4 and 5, same inaccuracies with HR and sleep track.

@@HenPapirman I don't really agree with you on that.... I also have the watch 5 Pro with me and it's pretty damn good. I wanted the classic look plus I like the oversized look of the 6 classic 47mm

Good question. There are some features that Samsung says will NOT work with non-Samsung Android phones. Unfortunately, they don’t do a great job detailing what those features are…
I have added this as a future video idea because I know this information is very important for a purchase decision.

Not everything. But don't get it. The senses since the 4 and 5 haven't changed, it's still as inaccurate as both 4 and 5. It was my go-to watch ,but after seeing a few videos, including a scientific one, reading people's views, it isn't worth a penny. I'm gonna wait for next t year. They say Samsung can't really stay as it is. They have let down its costumers.
I was going to buy Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 44mm, but since my phone is not a Samsung device, I would not get a proper result in terms of compatibility. (It can be handled with some 3rd party software, but I don't want to deal with it.) Do I have to use a Samsung phone on Watch 6? I would appreciate if friends with information can green it.
Do you need to let the battery run down to like less than 5% before you recharge or can you charge the watch at any percentage? Thanks!
You can charge it at any percentage. You’ll get a notification when your watch hits 15%. That notification is a good time to charge if you can because letting it run down to zero frequently isn’t great for long-term battery health.

I recently bought the 40 mm 6 model mainly because I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist and they didn't have the Classic 43 mm in the store to try on. After looking at the 47 mm and the band it comes with I thought the 43 mm would still be too big. However, now I'm second guessing my choice because I really perfer the look of the Classic and the fact that it's stainless steel instead of aluminum and I think my problem may be with the larger band that it comes with. I could order the S/M band direct from Samsung but that would be an additional $60. I can get the watch for $100 less than retail through my cell provider but it's still $100 more than the basic 6. If you had to choose between the two which would you choose?
It’s a very subjective choice. The actual display size of the 43mm classic is the same as the 40mm regular. The extra 3mm is from the physical rotating bezel. I will say that the classic does look “better” in person next to the regular, but it is also heavier. Too bad Samsung doesn’t just provide two band size options in the box, then it wouldn’t be an issue!
@@wearablewhisperer Thanks for responding. Sizing options in the watch industry in general is a real issue. Women are liking larger watches and some men also have smaller wrists and the industry doesn't cater to either. I actually think the 43 dial wears smaller because the bezel being silver makes the face appear smaller than the 40 which is black all over. I've only had mine a couple of days so I'll think on it a little longer.
What about blood pressure?
It's only FDA approved in certain countries! United States is not yet one of them yet! Plus she didn't give full permission to all the functionalities of the watch when it prompted her to, so options of what the watch is capable is not up to its full potential.

Shame they put usb c on both ends as i charge up from my computer so you would need an adaptor lucky i had a previous Samsung watch so use that charger

Just to correct you, the band is "combination of high quality leather and sweat-resistant fluoroelastomer material"
Not according to Samsung:

47mm is absurd. 43 is way better.
you loss me when you said that the 44mm GW6 has a similar screen size as the 47mm GW6 classic.
The size of the actual screen / display is exactly the same and you can see that if you keep watching…
The extra 3mm is from the physical rotating bezel, not the screen size.
