Nice wear bars. Are they pricey?
Will have to check to see if they have apps for older sleds like my Phazer😅

Back in the day, carbides were very expensive with a teenager riding a 70's Polaris with a cleated track. The standard skegs might last a season or might break your ski in half if they wore out prematurely. Along came Bergstrom, who welded a bead on the bottom of a standard skeg - giving us better wear and better steering at a price significantly lower than carbides. Great product from an innovative company.

We took our skis off with the rod on and hard surfaced them in the late 70's. Farmer with a welder.

7-8k kilometers on bergstroms? I've had 3 sets and my best was about 1500. The current set is pretty worn after 600km. They are pretty amazing when new though.

I got 13,000 kms to a pair of bergstroms in 2022. 1500 kms? I've never seen those bars wear that quickly.

If that "greasy" ol triple with a carb keeps me sledding without trying to find $25k for a new one I'm all over it. I'm fairly new to this sport and the costs of new rides is mind bending. With all due respect something your show and others like it are missing is the manufacturers are pricing themselves out of existence. Snowmobiling needs a comeback and unfortunately it's on the wrong path. I'm a gear head thru and thru and the reason I don't own a muscle car anymore is simple. Pricetag. Focus more on how to have fun on machines of all years and I think you'd attract more viewers IMO. Several youtube channels focus on this and their viewrship is huge.
