Never pry on them, its the washer seals that make them stiff to get off they go rock hard overtime, full set of 8 seals £13.67 from toyota 😁👍🏻 Genuine toyota Rocker gaskets are £15 each, id never buy aftermarket/copy gaskets they don't last not worth the effort its worth paying the extra.
@@GregWellwood my dad when he retired, bought a AE111 corolla, but it came with that 4AGE 20v engine, when i travelled back to my home country (Trinidad), my dad let me drive it from the airport to home, then during the entire time with my parents, my dad would not let the corolla keys out of his posession, even while asleep 😂😂😂😂. That 20v engine really is revv happy and able to chase down literally everything on the road.....never imagined a 1.6 could blow my mind

You're only full JDM when you've blown your 4age up, replaced it and put two oil cap valve covers on the new engine. Fill it up twice as fast!

How did u set up the relocation of the distributor?
Megasquirt EFI with Ford EDIS. There is a trigger wheel on the crankshaft pulley now.

It certainly is a delightful screamer of an engine! You will be sad to know, that I will replacing this 4AGE with a 2.0L Duratec in the coming years.
