It is often said that the best drivers are the worst passengers. I myself am guilty of this, and even when you're trying to remain composed because of who is driving at the time, know that we're dying on the inside.
If for some reason I/we have to intervene by increased intensity/volume/physical force, we will just take over no matter the distance or the job. I've driven non-stop cross country and overnight to keep my wife from having to drive. 😁
