It takes time! I was and still am in some ways an "I'll try" person instead of an "I won't" because I didn't fully understand how mentally I was even able to do certain things. Growing up and maturity is ongoing maintenance of self ❤

Of course, this is just a speculation, but if I'm right, then I agree with ipoisson. Bad habits are incredibly hard to get rid of, and on your journey of getting rid of them, one of the major milestones is believing in yourself for succeeding. The guy hasn't reached that milestone so far, thus he's using the word "try" instead.
It’s crazy seeing the clear maturity gap between y’all. Like even with co-parenting, Cerose, it seems like YOU’RE the only one who actually experienced that life stage in real time. When the time is right, I hope you meet someone on your level who can actually see and appreciate you for the beautiful, intelligent, responsible, kind, hardworking soul you are. Oof, this guy. Props to Gohan for being in the kids’ lives, but I cannot with the rambling 😂. Girl I know how much strength it takes to be around someone who has taken so much and continues to drain you even now, someone who just doesn’t get the shit. That said, I applaud you both for taking this step and doing your best for the kids. 😊
한국인으로서 보자면.... 아직도 고한은 꿈속에 있고 현실에 발을 딛지 않고 있는 느낌. 아직도 본질이 뭔지 파악조차 못하고 있는 느낌입니다... 그리고 더 나아가서 세로즈를 가지고 노는 것처럼도 보여요. 세로즈는 아직도 때때로 표정에서 씁쓸함이 느껴지는데 애써서 지워내는 느낌이에요. 세로즈의 성숙함을 고한이 절대로 따라가지 못할거같습니다.. 그냥 여기서 더 나아가지말고 허황된 얘기 없이 제발 고한이 자기 할 몫을 해주길 바랍니다
I just love the raw vibes. It’s just giving “not just RUclips but this is our life” and that’s very hard to do. It’s hard for ppl to show imperfections etc. So best to you both, it doesn’t matter what we say or assume, you live your life according to YOU. We’re not entitled to your decisions. I think the thing is, being completely transparent, when we were in a relationship, it's not that you aren't aware of the other persons faults.. you just try to love them past it. even I got sucked into the idea of what a perfect relationship was "supposed" to be and tried to portray that.. "perfection" but after everything went down and I was kind of forced to face the ugly reality of my situation.... and I got to a point where it was like you know what? it's not perfect and that's okay, because it's real. it's my everyday life and I'm the only one who has to live it. and I feel BLESSED truly, to know that despite certain things, there are a plethora of people who care, not only for my little family of me and my boys, but also their father enough to hope that he changes and does better to become who he needs to to be a positive figure in their lives. I’m starting to see where the disconnect is. People mature and grow at different paces in life depending on their desire to grow, mature and heal. No matter how much we want love and good for others, we can’t change people. Cerose congrats to you for choosing the higher road and practicing the fruits of the spirit starting with patience. Mature love (boundaries, accountability, tough love) can help people grow out of toxic behaviors and habits. I pray Gohan keeps working on himself. Ditch the self hate/punishment and avoidance to heal self and take accountability. Healing is a choice. Love yall ❤

Absolutely! I always comment about how much I love her forgiving spirit. Not many people could do it and carry on with such strength. Many people far older than her still don't have her kind of maturity.
Introspection should not be underestimated. Gohan has shown that he has matured and although there is still a long way to go the fact that he is able to reflect on his past behaviours and be open and honest enough to admit cheating is still a weakness in him and is trying to subvert the possibility of it happening again in the future ( though deciding not to enter into another relationship in fear of failing is not realistic or helpful) shows growth and tbh none of us are perfect and we all have our demons and individual struggles so I have nothing but admiration for Gohan for embarking on his journey of self improvement. As for stating in the children’s lives I really hope he will do so and if he can’t do it for himself then do it for the children let that be his motivation. To early to sign Gohan off he deserves a chance to prove he can be a good committed father to his children. Hearing the children calling for him to help them says a lot.

Gohan is lucky to have you Cerose. That tough love is so necessary bc sometimes self-discipline just isn’t enough. Having to meet someone’s expectations doesn’t always feel good in the moment but after a while, the other person can appreciate having more standards as a person/ parent than they might not have had before. For someone like Gohan (and maybe tough love isn’t the right word so maybe), the direction?? he gets from you as a parent will trickle into his own structure of life eventually. he just has to mean what he says and do those things.

I wish we could hear more of Cerose's thoughts. I feel like Gohan has a lot to say, but I feel like Cerose doesn't agree with most of it, but she keeps her thoughts more shut. I appreciate her so much and I would like to hear more about her experience at the moment and how it is affecting her, since he came back, it was not just his life that changed, hers has certainly been strongly impacted as well, if not more!
She wasn't brutally honest with us like she said they'd be. Gohan was yapping for dear life, yet she gave us I'm not talking about that, I'm going to lock my lips and not address whatever you're saying, lots of facial expressions to show us she didn't agree with what he was saying or that she had something she wanted to say. The brutal honestly didn't have much honesty. I get trying to keep the peace, but it's better to just not answer the questions from us if you really don't want to.

I kinda mentioned that! because I mean, he says it all the time,( I love you) there's just no meaning behind it for me, but also like when I go out and he's with the babies, he will try to clock me and be like "where you going? who you going with?" etc, for example he heard from my mom I came home at like 3/4 am recently and he was on my behind like "you think that's an appropriate hour to be out?!" I'm sure he does love Cerose in many ways but it isn't all necessarily the "right ways" when you're still figuring it all out. Of course things will never be how they "once were" because there's so much growth happening in the both of you that you will never be the same person you once were. They are both working on their own lives, they are both strong AF to be able to hash it out in front of an audience, and I have HUGE respect for them both.

Been watching for years, happy to see Gohan moving in the right direction. You can tell Cevonne is elated to have him there, and Cerose be trying to hide it but I see the fondness when Cevonne calls for his daddy, i’m crying 😭❤️

I hope Gohan doesn't think that isolation is the key. We all need people to make this life bearable. Meeting new people will help him grow as well. But.... I have seen a couple men I know swear off relationships after theirs tanked and to be honest I took swore off relationships after a serious failure but I think for some it's a fresh response to the pain and it will change as a person grows and matures. It would probably take him seeing Cerose happy with someone else to get him to accept that as a possibility. Regardless I just absolutely wish them both the best ❤❤

I can’t stand him. I as a mommy to a 1 year old could NEVER look at my child in the eye if I even THOUGHT to leave him for YEARS. Let alone actually did it. I’m watching this channel for the beautiful woman who I’ve loved watching for years. I always felt that way abt gohan. He gives me the ick. Beautiful woman and children though. I grew up literally watching yall.
OOOO GIRL, I can feel it through the screen. He's gonna try to get back with you for the kids and and he's trying to say all the right stuff for the audience and you but it would be 100 times better if he was just real with himself. If he "doesn't want to get into another relationship because he's scared to cheat", then he missed the whole point. He should've realized that he's lost the respect his kids will have for him in the future and the relationship he built. I know he doesn't have to do anything but he shouldn't want to cheat again because of the consequences. He's literally the same person as he was before going into the military.
As an elder (67) and was married to an South Korean gentleman for 23 years til his passing...i have say my marriage was a up hill climb from day one!! 2 different cultures i am African American in Korea. If was hard because we were both starving for affection,love,compassion all our lives. Alot of long deep talks,tears, laughter, and relearning life!! We had 2 children he was the epitome of a great father. He vowed he would NEVER be his aloof father!!! I didn't have a father in my life. Bottom line..after we shut out the negative people and listened to each other,our marriage was heaven!!! It takes alot of work!!! 100%from both sides!!! Communication!!!
I just want Cerose to be happy. You can tell she has grown into herself and found her confidence after dealing with such a toxic situation and that’s why she continues to be blessed. Not everything has to be romantic..it’s okay for two parents to have these conversations because that’s what makes it easier to co-parent. I want to say that lust is not love..Jin hasn’t even been out of the army long enough to know who he is as a person. Lust is something that can feel like love especially for those who lack both. Good job Cerose for putting your boys first and choosing peace for yourself!
Cerose, the level of grace & maturity you've extended to Gohan, over the past 2 years is genuinely awe inspiring. As someone who's mother also choose to allow my f*ck up of a father (no offense intended) to be a presence in my life, even after their divorce, I'm eternally grateful to her. He's still a f*ck up, all these years later, still finds ways to disappoint me now; he's also still a big part of my life: do I like him? Not really; do I love him? Yes. And I'm grateful to have a relationship with him, in spite of his inability to be the dad I need(ed.) Because, unlike many of my friends, who's mothers removed their fathers' from their lives, I didn't grow up with the illusion of a perfect dad; I didn't grow up hating my mum for taking him from me; I grew up with the reality of my dead-beat dad! Any animosity or disappointment I feel towards my father, he earned himself; he has no one else to blame, & neither do I. That's a much healthier way for a child to grow, even if it's been difficult at times, I'd much rather have that, along with a healthy relationship, full of love & respect for my mum, who sacrificed everything for us. Love doesn't always mean having a romantic relationship. In my group of friends we have a dependable, great friend that is a terrible in his personal relationships. People change depending of what relationship they are in.
I think that he’s grown and I feel that since the kids love him so much it’s only good to let the Past go and just talk positive about each other even more so because you’re not getting back together it’s important to support each other so that your kids grow and see a healthy relationship and are able to learn from that, but I do think he is trying to own up to what he did as bad as it was I think he’s trying to own up to it and it’s great that the children have you both
고한이는 두부 멘탈인데도 특이하게 관종끼가 있어서 유툽하는게 정신건강에 도움이 안될거야..댓글 하나하나에 기분 좋았다가 나빳다고 감정이 롤러코스터 타는거 처럼 기복이 심할텐데 유툽에 가끔 출연해서 근황을 알리는 정도는 괜찮지만 자꾸 나오면 심리상태 불안해질듯. 뒤에서 아빠노릇 하면서 가끔 등장해서 근황 알리는게 좋아.

I doubt Gohan will read this- but just deciding to "never date again" even if you want to isnt the answer. The issue is deception and the hurt it causes. If you're somebody that wants multiple partners- you can do that without cheating! There are plenty of poly people out there who live healthy and happy lives with multiple partners! Getting even MORE out of touch with your feelings is not going to help anything. You are allowed to feel, just don't lie about what you're feeling or doing to those you love. (Also Cerose- you're a saint for giving this man another chance to be in your kid's life- but considering I dont think any of us trust him to not get overwhelmed and run away again as somebody who had a father equally as responsible as I hope they know that even when Gohan is being Gohan they are still being loved by him... unfortunately he hasnt been healthy enough to love them like they deserve- which is why YOU do.)

Introspection should not be underestimated. Gohan has shown that he has matured and although there is still a long way to go the fact that he is able to reflect on his past behaviours and be open and honest enough to admit cheating is still a weakness in him and is trying to subvert the possibility of it happening again in the future ( though deciding not to enter into another relationship in fear of failing is not realistic or helpful) shows growth and tbh none of us are perfect and we all have our demons and individual struggles so I have nothing but admiration for Gohan for embarking on his journey of self improvement. As for stating in the children’s lives I really hope he will do so and if he can’t do it for himself then do it for the children let that be his motivation. To early to sign Gohan off he deserves a chance to prove he can be a good committed father to his children. Hearing the children calling for him to help them says a lot.

Having to meet someone’s expectations doesn’t always feel good in the moment but after a while, the other person can appreciate having more standards as a person/ parent than they might not have had before.

She wasn't brutally honest with us like she said they'd be. I can’t stand him. I as a mommy to a 1 year old could NEVER look at my child in the eye if I even THOUGHT to leave him for YEARS. Let alone actually did it. I’m watching this channel for the beautiful woman who I’ve loved watching for years. I always felt that way abt gohan. He gives me the ick. Beautiful woman and children though. I grew up literally watching yall.

OOOO GIRL, I can feel it through the screen. He's gonna try to get back with you for the kids and and he's trying to say all the right stuff for the audience and you but it would be 100 times better if he was just real with himself. If he "doesn't want to get into another relationship because he's scared to cheat", then he missed the whole point. He should've realized that he's lost the respect his kids will have for him in the future and the relationship he built.
I know he doesn't have to do anything but he shouldn't want to cheat again because of the consequences. He's literally the same person as he was before going into the military.
As an elder (67) and was married to an South Korean gentleman for 23 years til his passing...i have say my marriage was a up hill climb from day one!! 2 different cultures i am African American in Korea. If was hard because we were both starving for affection,love,compassion all our lives. Alot of long deep talks,tears, laughter, and relearning life!! We had 2 children he was the epitome of a great father. He vowed he would NEVER be his aloof father!!! I didn't have a father in my life. Bottom line..after we shut out the negative people and listened to each other,our marriage was heaven!!! It takes alot of work!!! 100%from both sides!!! Communication!!!
I just want Cerose to be happy. You can tell she has grown into herself and found her confidence after dealing with such a toxic situation and that’s why she continues to be blessed. Not everything has to be romantic..it’s okay for two parents to have these conversations because that’s what makes it easier to co-parent. I want to say that lust is not love..Jin hasn’t even been out of the army long enough to know who he is as a person. Lust is something that can feel like love especially for those who lack both. Good job Cerose for putting your boys first and choosing peace for yourself!
Cerose, the level of grace & maturity you've extended to Gohan, over the past 2 years is genuinely awe inspiring.
As someone who's mother also choose to allow my f*ck up of a father (no offense intended) to be a presence in my life, even after their divorce, I'm eternally grateful to her.
He's still a f*ck up, all these years later, still finds ways to disappoint me now; he's also still a big part of my life: do I like him? Not really; do I love him? Yes. And I'm grateful to have a relationship with him, in spite of his inability to be the dad I need(ed.)
Because, unlike many of my friends, who's mothers removed their fathers' from their lives, I didn't grow up with the illusion of a perfect dad; I didn't grow up hating my mum for taking him from me; I grew up with the reality of my dead-beat dad!
Any animosity or disappointment I feel towards my father, he earned himself; he has no one else to blame, & neither do I. That's a much healthier way for a child to grow, even if it's been difficult at times, I'd much rather have that, along with a healthy relationship, full of love & respect for my mum, who sacrificed everything for us.

I think that he’s grown and I feel that since the kids love him so much it’s only good to let the Past go and just talk positive about each other even more so because you’re not getting back together it’s important to support each other so that your kids grow and see a healthy relationship and are able to learn from that, but I do think he is trying to own up to what he did as bad as it was I think he’s trying to own up to it and it’s great that the children have you both

I doubt Gohan will read this- but just deciding to "never date again" even if you want to isnt the answer.
The issue is deception and the hurt it causes. If you're somebody that wants multiple partners- you can do that without cheating! There are plenty of poly people out there who live healthy and happy lives with multiple partners!
Getting even MORE out of touch with your feelings is not going to help anything.
You are allowed to feel, just don't lie about what you're feeling or doing to those you love.
