Walking Lake Como's Via Verde (Moltrasio to Laglio)

Have you ever wondered how to see Lake Como on foot rather than from the ferry? Well we have a great walk to share with you in this guide to hiking the 'Via Verde'. The Via Verde is an official, marked walk that starts in the town of Moltrasio, not too far away from Como itself, and lasts 7km until you reach the town of Laglio. Filmed handheld on a Sony A7iii with a 16-35mm Sony Zeiss lens and a variable ND filter. No gimbal was used, only a small handheld tripod. For sound I use a RØDE VideoMicro.

We stayed in Laglio for 3 months in the fall of 2021. Our apartment was 50 yards from this trail and we walked it nearly every day. thanks for the video!

Most beautiful and informative, I have a question though: 90% of your footage is set on Moltrasio, Carate Urio or Laglio. Aren't you being maybe a little unfair to what's in between?

Thanks for your comment. The video was designed to show the 'Via Verde' hiking trail itself and the villages it passes through but whilst sticking to the actual trail. Of course, it is possible to deviate from the trail and go down the mountainside to see these villages in more detail by the lakeside.
