And they can't afford to put extra kilos or lose too much between races due to the tight margins the cars are made with. The tub is molded to be to the specifications of the driver. Also it gets extremely hot and exhausting to drive, especially in some races where you feel like you are in an oven in the Middle East

Airplane pilots don't really do that much G sideways on the X axis while F1 pilots don't really do that much G on the Y axis. When we see pilots "pulling" 9 G that's literally "pulling", it happens on the Y axis. The only time airplane pilots can experience X axis G forces when they start a sudden roll. It's a very different type of feeling. You can't pass out because of X-axis G forces but you can easily pass out on positive Y-axis G forces. I once started losing my peripheral vison (and colours) after a couple of 2-2,5 G turns in an airplane with my dad. Then I remembered to breathe properly and flex my core and the vision came back instantly.
F1 is more difficult strength-wise. While fighter-jet pilots experience 8-9G, it's only for seconds in one direction with a longer pause in-between (except in dogfight, which are still not longer than minutes, if even). F1 drivers get constant 2-6G, changing from every side, for 1.5 hours. Fighter-jet pilots are insane, and there is a reason why they have the most selective recruitment process in a military. But they could likely not drive an F1 car for 1.5 hours, while a F1 driver could most likely (physically) fly a fighter-jet.
Hey if your wanting to train your neck what I’ve found works is lying down (on a bench, bed, etc) with your neck hanging off the surface. You then move your neck up and down and you should start to feel the muscles getting worked.

Actually pilots don't get that much G's sideway mostly up and down
Pilots get mostly vertical g's. F1 is all about the lateral g's. Totally different. Pilots can pass out from excessive g's. F1 pilots can't.
