If Arapahoe Basin Ski Area stocked pile snow like 60 feet high towards the bottom of that chairlift and just use it towards the end of the season they could have season to July even August.
practice pivot slips! you're looking to make more curvy turns than z shaped, will also help you with the wiggle, riding up higher on the walls and avoiding the trough
I was there the end of May, and it was great. I was extremely disappointed in Breck and Vail closing so early when there was plenty of snow. I may have to change to Ikon unless they get with it.
I ski keystone a lot early season and this was definitely more dangerous. Keystone does a good job opening wide runs that are long. There also isn’t as much of a party scene in the early season compared to late.
@@angelinaoutsidecan't expect the "epic" experience of a corporate mountain, when none of them care to give you skiing this late. a-basin not being a party the last weekend, would be sad for ski culture. sticking to vail resorts on weekdays will satisfy your personal preferences more but you have to pay the higher price for that shorter season. give and take
"No place to stop", what??? You had plenty room to stop. Going through those rutted turns is a piece of cake.Hey if this person has had this inflammatory pain behind his knees that I wished I had my legs amputated before God created the universe can still ski down this slope 3 times faster than you, so why can't you? A 5 year old kid went skiing down Corbet's Couloir there at Jackson Hole Ski Resort, Wyoming one of most extreme skiing runs in all of North America so why were you scared???
The terrain is unrecognizable
Yeah pretty melted but still good!
This is crazy how late the season is going!! I have so much FOMO!! Cant wait till next season so we can shred!
Yesss!! Excited to shred with you again next season!
Great aerial views. So glad you got to ski in freaking mid JUNE!
I know! It’s wild

Looks safer than opening day at Keystone.

How does the ticketing work during summer? Is your pass still good? If not how much does this cost?
The "Summer Skiing" is still the regular season! They just have a long season.
Still a beginner so my season ended in early April once Breck closes peak 8.
They closed way too early this season!
Nice conditions! fun!
It was surprisingly good! Didn’t get stuck at all
