As you get older, the fibers in your vocal folds become stiffer and thinner and your larynx cartilage becomes harder. This limits the voice and is why elderly people's voices can sound “wobbly” or “breathier”. Long live the Clark Sisters for them still to be traveling and singing as much as they do is a miracle in itself!

When these blessed sisters of gospel started I would play them constantly for my children, we love 💕 them. Always playing there music, my girls play them and love hearing them, says the Clark Sister’s make there spirit feel good. I love TCS and three background singers are killing it but I wonder if those with this theology that every believer is favored regarding temporal things would say the same for Christian martyrs. And those across seas in the underground church and those who are poor being beaten for following Christ. We need to rethink this prosperity teaching in America
The background truly pulled their weight and made them sound them good. All of the Clark Sisters didnt seem like they were all there vocally. Thats not a norm for them. Hoping they are getting much needed vocal rest.
I think she could benefit by changing the keys to some of the songs. I’m surprised no one is suggesting that. I hate hearing my Twinkie strain on songs…why work harder when u can work smarter

@@reggiemitchell5198 she has her range…she is singing in a smarter way. she is in her 60s…she don’t have to choose the highest keys or belt a c6 during every performance. maybe newer fans are looking for all the extra high stuff on every clip but real Clark fans know when Karen sung with a heavier sound& only hit those notes on occasion in the 90s…not every song. she is going back to that way as it is better & smarter.

She mixes everything past Eb5 now and the highest she’s mixed lately is G#5 and she hit it bur she cracked and she’s been cracking a lot lately which is why I said she’s playing it safe because her extensive range hasn’t returned. You Karen had a heavier voice but still could belt up To G#5 full voice with clarity and no cracks this Karen barely belts full voice anymore and her range is declining and that’s not a bad thing. But they all need some vocal therapy and great vocal coach. Out of all the sisters Jacky’s voice is the most preserved and dorinda is behind her.
