When he dribbles, he’s got this stable gait and you just know as a coach or a player that you’ll never get the ball off him when he’s running at speed in the byline. And dare I say, he’s better than Rashford or Martial in that area when he dribbles. He’s got good crossing and attack decision-making too since his Southampton days. If not for his leg break injury that costed him almost 2 years of playtime, he would have reached this level quicker .
@@sunilambrose9502 I think there’s not much emphasis on getting crosses in the way we play. Both him and, to a lesser degree AWB are good crossers but we just don’t see it cos there’s very few crosses going in a game in comparison to Liverpool, Chelsea etc.
Cuz of his terrible injury record and also the social media stigma around him of being “fat” or “can’t defend or cross”. Even last season literally played a massive role in getting the top 3 and just because his past injury record was terrible or perceived to be fat it doesn’t meant the guy was terrible at the start

United literally have the 2 of the best full backs in PL. Luke and Wan has been outstanding this season. Its almost like they swapped with Robertson and Trent from last season.
He was the best player in the side before his injury, he can do everything, proper left back. And he deserves the praise that he is finally getting, he has had terrible treatment and I hope he gets his hands on more trophies. He and Digne are the most complete full backs in the league.
It's really great to see Luke Shaw performing well after recovering from the injury that could have ended his career. I hope he will consistently perform like this and never experience injuries like that again.
