As a chelsea fan, I remember really wanting him to make it at Chelsea, he’s such a nice lad and obviously we didn’t have many homegrown players at the time. It was not looking promising for him when he was going on all those loan spells and not scoring. I’m really happy that he’s been able to prove himself to everyone in the best league in the world. He’s the ultimate example of why you shouldn’t write off players too early! Good on him.

Hes a great lad and for me hes the best English striker in this league and yes that includes Kane who for me wastes far too much time pissing about in midfield which cost us the Euros .Bamford is a genuine number 9 who works for the team and scores great goals , hes a class act .

@@MARTIN-bd7gm totally agree. He would have been a massive curveball and torn up that back line of ageing defenders with his work off the ball. Would have created acres of space.
Good montage that really shows his talent. I was critical of him in the championship (among friends and not on a public forum.) his improvement under Bielsa is that he has become more instinctive. All those chances he missed in the championship is because he thought too much about the shot, you could almost see him get the set square and log tables out and measure the angle. Now he sees a chance and he takes it. His upper body strength has also improved immensely and best of all he’s just a decent bloke.
When he shoots he always hits the side netting. Sign of a good finisher
