It's very interesting how Vi, Jinx, Ekko, Jayce, and Mel all wear white rags/ tank-tops while Viktor and Caitlyn wear black. And Ambessa is only one who wears red.
It’s him being blinded, probably by hextech. He only see’s the light and not the darkness of it. Him putting his hand to his face probably has to do with him in Episodes 3-6 (probably?). The “what have we done” and onwards This could be wrong though
0:42 always makes me laugh cause it looked like they both went in for a kiss too fast and then ended up headbutting each other and i cant see it any other way
Nobody's talking about the paralell to the first shot of season 1s trailer? Where Powder being chiselled out from Vi's back, looking up to her, now Jinx gets up from Vi and shoots.
I can’t get over how much cooler this intro is than the last one, it’s so stylistically cool. They really knocked it way out of the park and into the atmosphere with this season, and all we’ve gotten so far is Act 1. The experimental animation and music scenes are somehow better than last season. I’m unbelievably excited
the Medarda family is soooo apart of the black rose, not only is ambessa holding one with glowing yellow eyes but Mel screams and the black petals on the ground get blown away while she reaches for the rose, GOD IM SOOOO EXCITED
I saw a video where they showed the first and second trailer together and the part where jayce tries not getting blind by the light is exactly the part where Mel shines on the first one such genius move
Comparing this opening to the first, where everyone and everything were depicted with statues; seeing how the characters are actually here and moving, it could quite literally mean story wise that things are now 'in motion'
Son of a B, Each character is being depicted as Characters from Major Shakespeare or other influential Plays, All who meet tragic ends. When you see it you can't unsee it. Their lives are marked by rebellion against the circumstances they were born into, highlighting themes of class struggle present in both narratives.Caitlyn is being referenced with Macbeth visual elements may symbolize Caitlyn’s internal struggle akin to Macbeth’s descent into madness. Victor being hinted at as a Phantom of the Opera, with the visual cues of Victor slowly putting on the mask, It just seems get deeper with each character. The first time i watched this, it gave very theater vibes, im very new to arcane, but watched season one before season two, but i was right to get theater vibes considering ive seen many people prefer to some things as acts
Can you see the art reference with Jinx? It reminds me sooo much of Delacroix’s painting “Liberty leading the people” just as Jinx became a symbol of the revolution. This series is a work of art, I am speechless.
I can't find that scene with the prisioners acknowledging Jinx as their hero, so I'll write this here. That scene got out of me, what Naruto could not. It moved me. The Villagers only stopped bullying him and started addressing him as a hero, because he made himself useful. But the Zaunites...Jinx gave them reasons to fear her. Yet they chose to look beyond that at that moment. They chose to look at her show with hope, understanding and forgiveness. THAT was a real "Faith in humanity" moment for me.
Yo! Wait, I never noticed it: Ekko has two shadows. One is ticking like a seconds-hand of a clock. And it could also symbolizes his ability to have basically two timeline for himself? don't know, just saw that detail, thought it looked cool.
Is it just me or each "line of light" that covers the characters seems to represent a number on a clock? Starting with Vi snd Jinx, being at 12:00, and then Ekko's clock starts to go backwards. XI: Viktor IX: Ambessa (the lines are in the position the clock hands take at 9:00) VI: Vi V: Cait and Vi (they form a V when they're pushed apart) idk maybe it's a beat of a stretch, but it's pretty clear that the light represent time going backwards.
No offense to the movie "Damsel", but if I want to watch badass young women struggling with fate and showing their strength..."Arcane" is where I come to. P.S: The world in that movie felt so...all over the place. Too vague. So different from "Arcane".
Vi doesn’t have her tattoos either, except for the one on her face that she smudges. Mel doesn’t have her gold plating. Ambessa doesn’t have her scars.
Also, no matter where I look at this season, it keeps taking me back to the "Naruto" fics I've been reading lately. Rin and Pain...Two poster faces of the types of healing the "Arcane" cast could be going through. But instead, as Kreia (KOTOR 2) said, all they are showing, is how the world might die.
The more it pass the more I'm sure the fragment between the two shots of Ekko are on contrary. Why does that black rose "come back" instead of "blossoming up"?
If you watch the video slow enough you can see Gangplank stepping on a Teemo mushroom and Mordekaiser with HUE HUE HUE written behind him. This series is a masterpiece.
SPOILER WARNING. ok ok. listen up people. The focus of this op is about truth. It is represented by light. specifically the thin lines of light shining on the characters represent glimpses of the truth. How that light shines on each character shows us how much they are exposed to absolute truth. In particular look at: Ekko, Jayce and viktor. They are all at some point completely illuminated. in the case of Jayce blindingly so. This is because they've "seen" the arcane, which opened up a whole can of truth to them. Cait is probably the only one that feels a little weird to me cuz she doesent have a thin line of light, shes pretty illuminated, but i'm not sure how i could fit her being shown a whole lotta Truth. Her theme definetly focuses more on her relationship with leadership in piltover (hence the crown shadow), so the truth theme is put aside a little bit, idk. Mels case is super cool cuz first when the shadow hands are reaching out she is shown with the streak of light. but after, when she's already taken ambessa's place she is fully illuminated. and, well, she now haas a very direct connection to the arcane and learned a lot about the black rose and her mother and brother. Anyways, rant over, just had to get it out of my system
It's very interesting how Vi, Jinx, Ekko, Jayce, and Mel all wear white rags/ tank-tops while Viktor and Caitlyn wear black. And Ambessa is only one who wears red.
Viktor is a merciful god and Ambessa is a merciless devil.
Maybe it’s cos’ Viktor, Caitlyn and Ambessa are the baddies this time around.
i think viktor is wearing grey?
Maybe it’s because Ambessa’s a Noxian and she has some blood debt to pay? Idk
It looked like Viktor was wearing blue 🤔

@@christianvirtudazo3106 Yaaaaaaaa its rewind time

To be honest that's what episode three feels like
That’s literally the point though…
Like that’s literally what the animators wanted to convey
They love each other but they’re butting heads.
after episode 9... oh my god..
Ikr! The plot points, hidden in plane site. What a show!
Caitlyn's shadow making it look like a crown UGH
It's explanatory and sad.
Wow, good catch
And it looks very similar to a poster of Macbeth too!
It's a Macbeth reference
Heavy is the crown
Jinx with that flag is giving that “the Revolution will not be televised” feel.
Viva la revolution!
Viva Libertad!
Even her facial expression shows reluctance. People in Piltover want her to be a revolutionary hero, but she doesn't.
Nobody's talking about the paralell to the first shot of season 1s trailer? Where Powder being chiselled out from Vi's back, looking up to her, now Jinx gets up from Vi and shoots.

Wrong
Jinx waving the Zaun flag gives me goosebumps everytime. She literally has Silco’s legacy in her hands.
Lol. It's actually so generic that I skipped it after the first watch
the Medarda family is soooo apart of the black rose, not only is ambessa holding one with glowing yellow eyes but Mel screams and the black petals on the ground get blown away while she reaches for the rose, GOD IM SOOOO EXCITED
They are apart from the black rose, but definitely not a part of
The fact that every Episodes intro adds different little details is so crazy and now I have analyze every intro from now on
I love how as the episodes go on, more of the intro makes sense. They did the same for the first season
As someone who got to see the show early, y’all are in for an emotional rollercoaster
Zeri and renata in this season or nah
urgot appearance when?

It's actually a reference to Macbeth
