Its such a cool card celebrating a very important artist and more people need to be able to appreciat abd get their hands on the the card.
If you buy it from Europe it can even be found at around 60-70 Euro. Its price got cut in half, and I got myself one, though it may get even lower.
Are you in the US and bought the Pikachu from Europe? I've been trying to figure out a way where I don't have to pay over $100.
@@DragonFangDan i live in the netherlands and was able to get 3 copies total. One to display, one to keep sealed and i got one extra. If you cant find one you can buy mine if you really want one. 20-30$ is what its worth imo.

Not from the US but not from Europe either and I got one for 70, including shipping. Not amazing but half the price that scalpers are asking for it

Hes saying that everythings all good because hes "giving away packs" this is the truth - Give aways are just an advertising scheme to bring more suckers in and get them addicted to gambling. Casinos do this all the time. Simple...dont support things that are bad for people and the hobby.
I haven't removed a single comment. Giveaways are done everywhere. The Pokemon company literally gave away thousands of grey felt hat Pikachu. I've given away thousands of cards to people.

Is Whatnot staff just terrible/ lazy? The only controversy I remember about whatnot was a lack of action against scammers. Maybe whatnot needs more staff to effectively combat these scammers? which means they need more money and need people with good reputations on their site to fix it all.

Yknow I passed on the skateboard. It’s not the first charizard, at this rate it’s not gonna be the last. The last limited run didn’t really improve much value wise considering the size and initial investment. Not only that but it’s a bit of a niche product. They also are happy to do other skateboard products limited ie the Santa Cruz collab.

Pokemon is going to crash for years to come. The bust that followed the boom has put a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths and I think they will move on to the next thing.
I too believe this is true. Pokemon collecting did leave a bad taste in my mouth and I was also able to see the surge in people selling their collections by the time I decided to sell. And people seemed more desperate in selling too (local and online market).
That was a few months ago, when Lorcana was first starting. So, I simply started that TCG instead and forgot about pokemon. And that's me, a person that has been playing the franchise ever since its beginning in the west
Now I follow Lorcana from the beginning, having already purchased the biggest hits, and I'll just hope it becomes the next successful thing.
Pokemon is becoming what we see - endless flow of product and decisions that are too unforgivable given the size of the franchise. The 151 set only delayed the inevitable, and they know that was their opportunity to regain trust. I don't think they succeeded.
MtG is dying slowly and falling into oblivion as old players die or give up, and yugioh would be a goner for the longest time if it weren't for the simulators. OP is a joke, a bubble close to bursting, if I were a betting man.
I'm not sure about Lorcana's future either, since people have become distrustful of the whole business/hobby (e.g. MetaZoo). Tough times.

DON'T listen to the haters. Their behavior is bizarre. I've never personally been on whatnot, but as long as you're using the platform legitimately, then I don't see how it's a problem. Sure, you've advocated for opening your own packs in the past, but that doesn't mean everybody was taking that advice (people participate in live pack breaks anyways), and that doesn't mean you can't change you mind. A business decision is a business decision, and for whatever reason, the gatekeepers of the community are taking it personal. You should take advantage of the opportunity, just like a majority of your haters would too.
