Telling my age...I remember washing cloth diapers in my bathtub! Thank God for Pampers! 50+° I'm sure would feel cold to y'all. Funny seeing you sporting a jacket. 🕊
Oh I’m so ready for cooler weather, actually SNOW! 😊. I’m so excited for Lolapalooza, praying we are able to go. Besides, what am I going to do with ALL THESE PICKLES 😜. I made em just for you & all my pickle lovin friends ❤️
Oh, I sure hope y'all get to go! I know, you will have lots of pickles! 😂
I think that washing process works better than my old maytag. Doggies looked cute shopping. Time for some chili :)
I washed a many of loads back in the day in my bath tub wished I thought of a plunger. I got 1/2 bushel of hatch green chili the other day.Think I will get another 1/2 bushel before it’s gone. Safe travels Jana and Debra
That's quite the work out. Jealous of chilly Temps!
It was fabulous weather there! Love you Lola!
Very cute Debra
Doing laundry by hand not only saves money, it’s easier on the clothes, I don’t have to leave camp and no more dirty machines, broken machines, or crowded laundromats. Makes me a happy camper! Love my new tires and wheels. This was a fun video. Thx Frug aka Jana. 😍
Good evening friend. Thank you for the update. I just got some tires from Walmart and I was really surprised that they offer very similar services that discount tire offers at a substantial discount. They also pointed out that if you're traveling, there's way more Walmarts than there are discount tires. I only spend eight dollars a month on going to the laundromat and the one I go to has free coffee. Also free air-conditioning.😅
Great video
Hmmm... I think I'll stick with the laundry mat, but hey - great workout!! 😅 Cutie pie puppers shopping!!
Great idea using the plunger and 3 tall garbage bins. I remember having to use a laundromat for years and hated every minute of that. Fortunately, through God's graces I now own my home and have a washer and dryer, but my dryer is broke at the moment so I line dry. Here's a tip for pillow cases and bed sheets that have been washed and went through the spin cycle: I immediately put them on the mattress and pillows even though they're still damp. It's pretty much guaranteed when they dry on the bedding there will be no wrinkles. This especially works well in hot weather. I've even done that when I just washed a top I want to wear immediately. When it is washed and spin dried I put it on damp and within 10 minutes my body heat dries it and there's no wrinkles. Your friend's idea to fold the top in half is something I do with my jeans. I think even when I get my dryer repaired I'll still use a clothes line. Free drying is quite appealing to those of us who pinch pennies, especially those who live in their vehicles. May God bless each and everyone of you folks who do so.
Thanks for the ideas. I am liking not having to go to the laundry mats and lots of times they are many miles away which is gas money too. I am also loving the air dry, my clothes smell so fresh and clean.
I use a salad spinner to spin dry my clothes after I wash them in a collapsible washer from Temu. I wash my clothes at night and in the morning. Hate spending money at a laundromat too.
I admire Debra‘s ambition to wash clothes in the bucket but that is not for me! It’s worth $40 a month to go to the laundromat, I want to
fill up three machines and be done in an hour. 🤗❤️
Depending on where you’re camping at, it’s good to do the plunger wash instead of breaking camp and driving down long rough roads to town.
Hugs my friends!
HugZ back!!!!
That's a lot of work. .....
Yes, it is a good thing Debra likes doing it! 😂
John Steinbeck used to put his laundry in a clean, covered garbage can with water + soap. He'd let clothes agitate in the back of his truck as he drove down the road.
A good way to do it!
A great laundry tip if the power goes down in a sticks & bricks situation too...
@sanborns...yep, as long as we have water, we're good! 😊
When I was living off grid my husband at the time hooked up a bicycle to a old ringer washing machine ,worked great , I was able to peddle my wash lol 😝
@@susanjack4099 Wow!!! That's awesome! Do laundry while exercising! 🕊
@@dewdropn5619 There was only one thing wrong with the set up which I had him change, It was facing up hill.
@@susanjack4099 Haha! 😀
❤Hi from Oklahoma...just found you from your video with Bob; love your home.
Subscribed n will now be binging your great videos❤🙂❤
AH, thank you! Hope you find some videos that you like!
It looks like disco laundry! Do it at night, play some music and have margaritas! I've had to do laundry in my bathtub when my daughter was a baby. Saves gas and laundry money.
Yeah you need to get tires. Have Fun!
That’s a cool way to do laundry! What kind of plunger is that?
It is a toilet plunger from WalMart.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 my husband was a plumber/pipefitter.
Hope you have been able to get new tires! Those looked really worn.
I do my laundry every week in a huge bowl in my van n hang to dry..sometimes i use my little cooler which i rarely use as a cooler bc i get tired of buying ice that barely lasts a day in summer or two in winter...only time i go to laundromat is for blankets, comfortors n big stuff..
Btw..trying to save for rv fridge but with 500watt battery not so sure thatll work..til i get solar anyway..takes forever to get what you need on a fixed income
🌮🍺✌️
Hmmm I might be a laundrymat gal. Y'all be careful!
No way, that’s crazy……
Dumb question, but what does drilling holes in the plunger do?
Releases the air as you plunge up and down if used as a normal plunger will suck up what ever is clogging your drain or toilet.
