I’m so glad you did this review. Pineapple Street goes back onto my TBR.
Loved your review. You really captured the essence of the book. You might enjoy another recent novel that revolves around similar themes set in NYC called The Party Upstairs by Lee Conell.
Thank you! Added it to my list
I just finished reading this book. I loved it!!! I'd not read a book maybe in over a decade! The exception of one written by a friend. This would be a fun book to discuss in a book club. The only thing surprising to me was religion wasn't a part of anyone's life. 💜
I just finished it this morning, and really enjoyed it. Great review for anyone who hasn’t discovered it…or you!😊
Thank you!
I just finished The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post and it definitely gives insight into extreme wealth over generations, so that is one you might be interested in
Thank you! Adding to my list now.
You would maybe like Very Cold People by Sarah Manguso.
Thank you! Just added to my list.
