I’m always confused when people expect full retail at garage sales, or compare Amazon prices to theirs which is wild. Crazy they wanted to up the price after you had already purchased it.
Their mdse...their prerogative. They made an error in pricing and chose to stick to their decided prices. So what!
Once you already paid for it, they should’ve just been like oops my mistake, but you could have it. If they caught it before you paid it, I would understand but after you pay it, I would’ve just been like take it.

so stupid they ask prices from ebay on garage sale, i dont know why you buy that eaven you squeeze 40 50$ profit on that game he ask 140$ you support his wrong way of pricing on garage sale i will just skip all items he price eaven close to retail price, that way he will not sell them and must slow price for next yard sale or start sell online like you, dont support dudes like that , and on top of that sht he ask more for game after you pay ,,,, just dont deal with sellers like that you are not alone other youtubers do same and i think you support sht sellers like this one paying his stpd prices on yard sale where they squeeze every dollar they can from customer wich came on his door lose time and pay cash
The amount of time they took to research every gaming item is crazy. They might as well have just listed them

It just makes me wonder...I guess you do get max value doing it that way, I just can't imagine going through that level of effort for a garage sale. The whole point is to get rid of stuff quickly.
@@joesenseii I agree. I’ll also will add that from my experience, people like this are “control freaks” whether it’s a garage sale or their grocery list, they command every detail to be exactly what they’ve anticipated.

People who price things like that at garage sales are absolute idiots. The general public and resellers go to yard sales for deals, not for retail pricing. Having a spreadsheet for every single game and your values, and asking for more money AFTER the deal has been done is insane, and beyond me.
People hold garage/yard sales for a variety of reasons and if they set a price goal that does not include catering to resellers and choose to hold out for their price, that is totally understandable. There are an abundance of these sales that practically give stuff away so no big deal if there is the occasional price written in stone seller.
They were probably stuck with most that stuff after the sale
Get used to it, people are now finding out what things are worth because of flippers / youtubers now.

But I wasn't making a huge deal out of it just saying that I would have done. On top of all that it wasn't that great of a deal anyway.

When you get time, can you share how you are setting up your warehouse/storage space? I have purchased a home with a similar situation and to be honest, have a problem working with a "Blank slate." I saw when you moved, you were using the bins...is that your permanent set up? Do you find that works best for your business? I also have a hang up about not utilizing the height of my space. Anything you can share would certainly be appreciated.

My dad actually has a spinal stimulator. They put it in him and ran the wires to his spine. Then, to charge it, he just puts on a belt type thing with a little battery pack on it (looks kinda like the one you grabbed), and it magnetizes to the stimulator, and badda-bing.. he is charging lol!

Hey Dustin, in the opening of your video you’re looking at the first item and right beside that is a Williams Sonoma stainless cutlery set. Do you ever check out that or Oneida? Some of those sets are worth big bucks and finding them in retail stores for a good price is getting harder. Check out what they sell for. ❤

First off congrats on 700 for your first month. That's great! As far as taxes go, we keep track of everything like cost of goods and stuff in a couple spreadsheets then we send that over to our CPA. I'm not really qualified to give tax advice though.

I was surprised at how many negative comments there were about high prices at the Wii garage sale. My father was a reseller before the internet was available - we had a small store adjacent to our house with "garage sales" on nice weekends. We had to make enough money during those summer months to keep the bills paid during the winter. Seriously people before being negative towards others, just repeat- "but for the grace of god go I"
We get mar anout it but it is their yardsale and their stuff so they can do whatever they want. There are so many people doing the reselling thing now that most of these people that have yardsales know that people are coming to their sales to find things to sell online and profit off of. Alot of these people dont like us resellers and i can understand why they dont like us.
