The ladies laughing and having fun reminded me of my wife's grandma having yard sales. It was a family tradition that is now long gone around here in Mesa Az. One relative had one every day of the week. She just covered the tables.
My mom bought storage units and sold at flea markets and swap meets and had garage sales. You can tell these lady's are similar because they have so many tables. Win win on the stuff you purchased.
Actually, considering they have won 27 World Series, anf have hold the titles of breaking numerous Baseball Hall of Fame Records the congratulations should actually go to them!
Oh one other thing you have to remember that the sign brand is built two stadiums with their own money! Unlike other baseball teams who had to use tax paying money to supplement the building of this Stadium and just look at the record that they're holding this year the first in the American League perhaps will be getting a 28th ring this October LOL LOL
So I ended up back here after going down the huge Stamp buy rabbit hole that u mentioned in ur most recent video and I just had to say that I really loved how u showed ur buys in this video and the interaction between u and the Mrs. It was super fun! Oh and I said Da Bears reference b4 u guys and thought u were gonna leave me hangin but u didn't disappoint lol. I'm not an OG fan whose been around since day one and seen every single video but I'm on my way! 😉🙃😉❤
Glad you are enjoying the backlog. The numbers in the stamp video ended up working out even better for us. We are still selling through some of the remainder though. Thanks for the kind words and watching the videos!
Dustin Your pretty much the only picker I watch. But man you get this stuff cheap enough. But you talk them down and then sell them for them crazy prices.
Thanks! Yeah, I have some sold comps supporting it but I am a tad worried I'm on the high end. I'll probably turn offers on if they don't sell this weekend.
The president's secret energy source is reference to President Reagan whose favorite snack was jellybeans. He kept a large glass canister of them on his desk.
I think you didn't pay her enough for those jackets. They were brand new and her price was fair. I've noticed that you hardly ever pay the sticker price on anything.
$250 on the Bulls, $260 on the Bears with tag, and I took an offer of around $180 on the new without tag Bears Medium, All shipped prices. I did sell the Columbia as well for $49.99 shipped I believe.
You don’t have a Jedi mind trick maybe you’re just cheap and she’s nice enough to put up with it. You beat her down over $5 on the first jackets and then $2 on the Columbia one. Not every price is a goodwill price. When there is quality items at a fair price you don’t have to be a cheapskate. I would’ve bought almost all those jackets on that rack she was obviously welcome to knock $5-10 off and those prices after that were more than fair enough to make good money on. Don’t know why you passed on that vintage LL Bean jacket too.
Thats a fair price 10 come on i know other people would take it Your going sale it for more Ive seen other pickers would buy for 10 get more out of it 😊 I think she was beening fair sorry to say😊😊
Find something you know a lot about that has some demand. Love movies and never miss a new release? You already have a base level of knowledge in it so start picking those. That's just an example. Expand your items you buy quickly though by learning watching videos like mine and researching. Good luck!
@@propicker thanks man i appreciate it. Ya ive been watching alot of your videos and some others but I love how yall break it down at the end man. Thanks for the tips I'm gonna try and see how it gos. Not to much thrift shops in new mexico but some got good stuff.
Hey, I appreciate you stopping by! Springfield's a nice town. I used to cut through there on 40 a lot when I got bored with using 70 to go between Columbus and Dayton.
You screwed them for 50 cents a piece on the house and you're proud of it you need to get your morals in order money will do crazy things to people it's called greed
I watch all the videos and even follow on eBay, but this video that lady made me so angry for how she told that old man she wouldn’t take 100$ for a jacket, I understand the value but geesh….poor guy
@@propicker No. I don't think Reagan smoked when he was President. He just loved jelly beans. He kept a large jar of them on his desk in the Oval Office. Cool videos. Keep up the good work.
Can't any of you pickers give the seller what they ask for you guys are making good money on your investments but you cry about a dollar or two it's unbelievable greed!!
With those 3 jackets, I don't understand why you worked her so hard for an additional discount off her already cheap prices. You're clearly making a killing on them.🤔
This video was 4 years ago. I had just lost my job and I was really trying to make this work. I spent a lot of my time after getting out of the army basically poor and often negotiated at yard sales. I also wasn't guaranteed to do as well as I did on them and also had a concern of potential fakes as there were a lot of fake starter jackets back in the day. Thankfully for me that was not the case. I get you might not agree with what I did in the video. But, at least you now have some context on my frame of mind then. Also, I've really reduced the amount of haggling I do as you can see in my more recent videos.
Sometimes I get pissed off watching new people they're already selling the stuff pretty cheap it's cheap and you turn around and try to get it even cheaper so you can turn around and sell it and make a huge profit I can't stand that That's not right and you people know it You're so cheap it's pathetic
I think you would be shocked what "Huge profits" most resellers actually make once you take into account shipping, seller paid returns, straight up fraud, remorse returns, shipping supplies, gas, time, fees, cost of goods, taxes, unseen wear on items, items that you thought worked or were complete but didn't once you get them home, and more. This is a business. Resellers need to reduce costs to make a living. No one forces the people at yard sales to accept offers and they often don't. Most people have these yard sales to clear out space and just want the stuff gone. Thanks for your comment. Hopefully, this shed light on the issue enough for you to calm down.
Yeah, I probably did go a bit too far here. This was close to 4 years ago now and I was really trying to make getting back into reselling after losing my job during covid.
Probably the third time I watched this and again I said you are so darn cheap. Really 20$ into 200$ that's really good but, But come on you couldn't do 10 dollars for the other.
This is a 3 year old video. For context, I had just lost my job and was really focused on just making the reselling business work. In retrospect, I wish I would have paid more.
"we're good at 8" ... bro I busted out laughing, I have to use that one.
The ladies laughing and having fun reminded me of my wife's grandma having yard sales. It was a family tradition that is now long gone around here in Mesa Az. One relative had one every day of the week. She just covered the tables.
So, what I get the biggest kick out of on your videos are the grumpy old folks talking in the background! They crack me up!!!
My mom bought storage units and sold at flea markets and swap meets and had garage sales. You can tell these lady's are similar because they have so many tables. Win win on the stuff you purchased.
Gosh I grew up yard selling and still luv the finds today with my hubby. I do enjoy your videos. From California…..
Haha, she got you with the purple Nike shirt! And I see she blew your offer off for her jackets, GOOD FOR HER!
Now, now Justin!!!! Yankee season ticket holder in my family since before I was born!

Theres a lot of jacket n vintage clothes there you can sell it on grailed . You can definitely make a lot more 👍
Do you remember what the jackets sold for? Going back and watching old videos of yours
I made a reel awhile back with the solds, $250, $260, and $167. I went back to reference it. instagram.com/reel/CZhQSszgeS2/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
I'm pretty sure it's accurate. I think those came straight from our spreadsheet. Hope you enjoy the video backlog!

Sometimes it would be a nice break to see you giving the asking price ... especially if they are elderly folks.
The fisher price child’s cash register (old) would have been a seller.
