they joy of finding a vintage piece of clothing is actually going out and finding it yourself, no one goes to buy at a "vintage" store that sells it overpriced.
Drives me crazy when people who can buy at regular price nice and stylish quality clothing go looking for the “name brands” to re-sell!! WHY? Because you’ve lost the purpose of a thrift store!! I was a 20 yrs old mom limited income and new school clothes came from the thrift shops!!!
Over $20 per shirt??! That's not gonna work. Those shirts will sell for maybe $25 each. You are charging too much. The price should be more like $5-$10 per shirt if you want to leave any room for profit for the resellers..
When you find that Nike shirt you gave to Amvets just to find it again later at another store sold at retail price. It still has my initials on it. Lmao
I think the profit margins of luxury brands are too big, which is why there are various imitation luxury goods on the market. For example, the famous *amzclothes* , their existence is reasonable and targets different groups.
All of this has changed People prefer to sell personal stuff... THRIFT STORES HAVE INCREASE THEIR PRICES TOO.. SOO RESELLING ITS NOT A GOOD OPTION NOW THESE DAYS.. BUT WELL YOU CAN TRY N LOOK EVERYONE HAS PERSONAL OPINIONS.. ALSO IF CLOTHES AREN'T CLEAN PROPERLY IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN .. PROBABLY THIS ITS NOT FOR YOU.. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Is this like driving around searching neighborhoods garbage to gather up and place in your yard as a yard sale. or do you take pictures and sell what you found in the garbage and put it on-line in your virtual vintage gallery.
No go to a thrift store ANY one and you will NEVER find a store that doesn't have any clothes and they the poor ARE NOT buying vintage clothes trust me.
You’re cute to watch (seriously) but while the content is relatable ya gotta admit it is a “wee bit” slanted. This content is not altruistic; you have a very vested financial interest in promoting, er, highlighting the negative perspective and aspects of sourcing.. which are unfortunately all too well known by us out here.. and it’s probably only getting worse. Anyway, I’m a huge proponent of free-market capitalism and entrepreneurship.. you have great video production here - I watched to the end - and I sincerely wish you well!! PS: my only complaint is your voice at times, pretty consistent tho. The vocal-fry. I hate to say it but the is a movement out here, a push back of sorts, albeit still fledgling, against content providers who insist on talking like this. We’re boycotting them. I did sub, but it’s tentative. At least I didn’t hear the other annoying speech impediment that of “uptalk”. Just bein’ straight up with ya! Cheers.
n I'll still find even crappier clothes to wear it doesn't have to be vintage , as long as it's clean and my bank account stays fat , I'll wear anything ,,, I make anything look good anyway
Wow, we never heard THAT lame and ill-informed, illogical, irrational argument before! Thank you oh wise one for gracing us with your profundity today!! 😂
So poor people donate what they have lost due to evictions, deaths ,foreclosures, or life's misfortunes. The store adds prices to free stuff they received .you buy the used free low priced things. and then add another higher price to something that you got free or extremely discounted..?
Poor people can sell what they have, instead of donating it. Nobody is stopping them. Me neither you. I am a poor person, but I don’t sell my stuff, not because I don’t want to but because I am too, mentally, lazy to put in the effort.
No PEOPLE in general donate stuff they DON'T NEED to thrift stores and resellers buy and sell stuff to people that really WANT it it's called a market economy silly quit biting 😊.
Are we triple pricing others people's garbage and losses for significant gain to survive. WoW. Are you saying we go discount shopping at vintage shops to figure out how to resale/ rip off / monopolize the next guy that we sell it to. WoW.
No she is saying she buys vintage clothes that most people don't wear at all that would otherwise go to waste. And then she resells it to people that buy/wear vintage clothes you know, people that WANT to buy those kind of clothes. News flash she is only selling the clothes for the market rate AKA the SAME PRICE they would pay if they were going online to look for a vintage shop whaaaaat mind blown 🤯 DUH DUH DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😅.
@DiligoBarba she shouldn't be calling her business a thrift shop, when the prices are not thrifty. Selling old t-shirts for $7-$20 a piece is not a bargain. She's basically Walmart at this point.

These are mostly from retired people that passed away.😮

Where are you seeing that? Graphic tees on their website are about $8/ea if you buy in quantity and those can sell for 25 or even 30.
When you find that Nike shirt you gave to Amvets just to find it again later at another store sold at retail price. It still has my initials on it. Lmao
$190 for 10 harley t-shirts? Holy crappola...You get those in expensive thrift stores for $7 each, cheaper thrift stores $1 each
Tienen descuento para los séniors?

Now the poor must wear rags. What a crying shame. Everybody targets the poor.

These type of people are making thrift stores super expensive for actual poor people. Shame on you.
I hate resellers lol. Everybody’s gotta chase a bag but man this business so fkn slimy. I refuse to buy from people and companies like this.
Used nasty clothes that you have no idea where they’ve been or from a dead person or hoarding situation🤮
