Control and Record Android From PC - Linux

In this video we build and install scrcpy to control and record the screen of an Android phone from a Linux PC. We start by connecting to the Android phone using a USB cable followed by connecting over WiFi for a totally wireless solution.

Have a lenovo k6 note that has been breaking its screen way too often but now i have a way to use it. This way of connecting it to the PC is fast, and very flawless. at 1024 i can play Angry Birds from my desktop (linux) without the slightest lag. Thank you for the Tutorial I had no idea of scrcpy.

You have shown a great awesome tutorial. But how do I transfer files? Is it possible to transfer files in this way?

You can just drag files onto the scrcpy window on your desktop computer and it will transfer the files to your phone. Check out the documentation on github it will show you how to change the destination folder on your phone. Also if you drag and drop an apk file it will install it on your phone.
