I thought I was somewhat of a Mac Master, but I learned more today about Safari than I have about Mech E this semester in graduate school. What else don't I know?!?! Awesome video.
If there's a tab playing sound somewhere and you can't find it, if you right click on the speaker icon, it'll show you which tabs are making noise. and you can click on them to go to those tabs.
My question may not be on topic, but I have the iMac 2017 5K and I was wondering which memory is the best? I have now 8GB and wanted to max it out. Thanks in advance
What I like most with the MacBook Air, is its battery autonomy, even before it being reasonnably priced. You can really go out and work for a day without thinking about carrying the power plug. That's really enjoyable, but that would not be possible with a Retina display. What is the point of having a very light MacBook if you need to carry the power plug around (and a set of dongles)? So for me, Apple could continue with this one, up the specs a bit, probably lower the price a bit, and make the MacBook Retina a bit more affordable (300$ more than the MBA is ludicrous).
When I go up to the Safari menu and hold down the option key I get quit and close all windows instead of quit and keep windows and when I press option>command>Q it does just that, it closes all the windows. Do I have something set wrong in preferences?
how do we rename bookmarks in safari (mojave)? On the left bookmarks' tab if i right-click on a bookmark there is no "rename" option... There used to be in older versions but now i cant find it now..
These are great tips, but I don't use Safari. Can you do a video like this, but with Chrome shortcuts? I have a Mac, but I prefer Chrome because it just seems more user friendly.
I'm a new Mac owner (moving from Windows). The tips are fantastic...keep them coming.
I've had iPhones and iPads for years but I recently got my first iMac and your videos are so helpful.
Quit and Keep Windows (Option Shift Q) -- handy when you need to restart Safari when it becomes erratic. Thanks for the tips, keep up the great work!
Excellent video. Safari for a Macbook is a must to maintain battery life so the more we know the better.
2:31 you can also pin a tab by just dragging the tab to the left side of the tab bar until it becomes a little square

The status bar viewing tip is so damn cool. Always knew it was missing. I was so lazy to google about it. Now I know. :D Fantastic videos Jeff.

Great video !!! As always!!!! I can’t thank you enough!!!!
All the tip are all handy to me.. new Mac user here..
The tab switching is the best 😱
It’s Ctrl + tab
"Command + Shift + Arrow Keys" lets you go forward and back. So does "Command + Shift + [ or ]"
I learnt all of them. God. And I though I was a good Safari user! Thanks Jeff!!
Always top and useful tips from you :)

Never clicked so fast
Can you show how you got your top sites to be tabs under the address bar of safari?
All down for that low end MacBook Air
Great tips!
I don't think 600 will happen, but something like 799 could be really likely and would be a fantastic move from apple imo

I wish the shorcuts worked on Safari for iOS with the keyboard
Isn't it possible to keep windows by default? Mine are back whenever I restart Safari.
You got me to subscribe! Good show. @reevans or @EvansRobert

Good to know your channel Sir!! :)
hi what the keyborad do you use?
Last weeks "Back to the Mac" episode talked about it. I believe it was a board from WASD.
I don't get used to Safari. I tried a few times but it´s never worked out for me...
I learned a pant load of stuff
Hi Jeff. I really like your speaking voice. Can you be my Siri voice? ☺️
iPhone XL

Robin Minkler What makes it more user friendly to you?
If you want Chrom shortcuts, there are plenty of videos on RUclips covering that topic. And you should give Safari a try! It truly is exceptional.
I didn't know any of them im a noob
Sorry for your video. Well! I know all. 😉
Tip #1, download another browser
"Guide for Noobs"
Boo Instagram, Boo.
Nice videos, but boo Instagram
Why do you have that irrelevant video playing in the background while you are talking? That screen is in focus enough to be distracting af.
