    I own one as well, your review is pretty spot on. You mentioned noticeable body roll, I think compared to the average cross-over, it corners well, and much more car like. Now compared to a sport sedan or coupe, definitely more body roll. The tires and wheels on your tester are 20”, 18’s are standard. The 20’s look more at home on the vehicle, but on certain rough road conditions, the suspension let’s you know there are big tires and wheels on the corners. It’s nothing bad, just a little bit more of the movement from road imperfections makes it into the cabin than you’d expect. By the way, GM recommends premium fuel for the 2.0 turbo. It can run on regular, but my experience has been that there’s quicker throttle response, and about 3-5% better MPG with premium, checking both in mine anyway.

    Nice video review. I am still disappointed they de-tuned the 2L. Cadillac should offer the 309 hp 2.7L Turbo Four as an XT4 VSport.

      More power is always more fun, Bruce Nunnally. It does get a bit tricky with a front wheel drive platform, though, so we'll have to wait and see what Cadillac does. Fortunately, even though the XT4 is numb to drive, it still makes adequate power. Thanks for watching!

    The car has to be comfortable because the long drives without comfortability your back and butt begin to feel like concrete.

    Cadillac has really found its niche with their exterior designs on both sedans, and cuv's.

    I am okay with the Cadillac XT4, but I would prefer the XT6 because it has more horsepower and more space. Also, I need All Wheel Drive in my vehicle, so when I go off the reservation crazy with my vehicle.

    I like the Cadillac. Looks nice. Would consider. Sounded nice from the exhaust but when the hood was open it sound very loud. Almost like it was going to stall. Or is it just me?

      A lot of these 4-cylinders are noisy, Richard, so it's not just you.

    Pretty good review. I'm planning to buy one this spring. Ditch the sunglasses, people take you more seriously when they can look you in the eye.

      Then Chris will be squinting at the camera because of the sun. We'll take the glasses, Nelson Sack, but thanks for watching.

    Also Cadillac is about luxury. About softness and comfort. I just got a 2020 GLE 450. I love it but it’s a bit too cushy for me. I like to put it in sport mode.

      It actually took us a moment to find where it was, Richard Fuller, since as you know most sensors are in the middle. No dodging the door (hatch) with this Caddy. Thanks for watching!

    Great Review,as usual.Is this car similar in size with new RAV 4 ?? Regards from Sweden

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  4 года назад +1

      Hi, Tomas Nordin. Both the XT4 and the RAV4 are considered compact in size, but we'd have to compare both side by side to tell if one has an advantage over the other regarding space. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

      Believe it or not, Cadillac lists it as a compact, jalmonte91. We feel the lines are blurred so much these days between vehicle classes. At any rate, we appreciate you watching!👍🏾

      Chris had similar sentiments, BG BG, but after reviewing the CT5 and CT6, he's beginning to believe in the brand again. Check those videos out if you get the chance. Thanks for watching!

      A lot of these turbo 4-cylinders are raspy like this, FOAD RIGHTNOW. We've been experiencing these for quite a few years now from all different makes of cars. That's why there's so much sound insulation under the hood of many cars. LOL. Thanks for watching!
