Makita HR5212c running but not hammering.

  • This is a odd one. it's not unusual for any brand of hammer to brake a conrod. but snapping the pin of a steel crank shaft is very unusual.
    This crank must have had a manufacturing fault, which resulted in the pin healing and not the conrod.

      Yes I am actulay going to do this. I will be doing more landscape videos for you tube and patron from now on and less for tiktok and instagram

    Is that a graphite conrod? Heard of an outfit that bought 3 Makita hammers, all of them suffering from a broken graphite conrod in the first week.

      I'm not aware of any tool that has a graphite conrod
      This one is nylon with I think 60 glass fibers

      @@deandohertygreaser cheers, not something I’ve personally experienced breaking, but the fella telling the story could easily have mistaken graphite for fibreglass. And Makita QC is pretty good, so may have been a batch issue.

      Exactly what i thought hell he make it look easy. I of lost the plot 8 hrs in and binned it lol
